The renewal was announced by Freeform and Onyx Collective President Tara Duncan at the network’s virtual TCA press tour session. “Good Trouble,” returns for a fifth season with the 20-something residents of Los Angeles’ The Coterie. The roommates will face their toughest obstacles yet as they’re confronted with evolving relationship challenges and new career opportunities. Through highs and lows, romance and heartbreak, The Coterie crew will lean on each other while they navigate the next stage of adulthood.

The main cast members of the series who will reprise their roles include Cierra Ramirez as Mariana Adams Foster, Zuri Adele as Malika Williams, Sherry Cola as Alice Kwan, Bryan Craig as Joaquin Peréz, Emma Hunton as Davia Moss, and Tommy Martinez as Gael Martinez, Josh Pence as Dennis Cooper, and Priscilla Quintana as Isabella Tevez.

In addition to this, Maia Mitchell, who exited the series last season, will be reprising her role as Callie Adams-Foster in the first episode of the season. She stepped down from her role and her position as an executive producer in order to be with her family in Australia.
