GOT7’s BAMBAM debuts his new track Wheels Up at NBA halftime show

GOT7’s BAMBAM has recently added another feather to his cap. Well, there is no secret that he is a world-renowned star. For the unversed, the singer-songwriter is also a producer and dancer. Fans consider him one of the most self-aware artists for obvious reasons. Moreover, it was a welcome surprise for his fans and well-wishers when BAMBAM became the golden ambassador for the NBA team, Golden State Warriors.

It was on April 7, 2022, during the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Warriors at the Chase Center, that BAMBAM became the first-ever K-pop star to perform at the halftime show. The fans couldn’t be more excited during that time as they poured praises and support for him during the mega event.

The singer did not stop his surprises there and recently debuted his unreleased track titled Wheels Up at the same show. Surprisingly, a larger part of the crowd stayed back to hear his new announcement instead of walking away after his previous performance. Well, there is no denying that he was the star of the night with his team members and light choreography that further added grace to the performance.

Apart from being a solo singer, BAMBAM is also an integral part of the K-pop group GOT7. He, along with the rest of the stars, is considered one of the greatest K-pop artists in current times. Fans couldn’t stop but notice how the boyband’s song Hard Carry played at the same venue.

BAMBAM has astonished his fans with back-to-back surprises since last year. It was on December 31, 2021, at midnight that the singer unexpectedly dropped a mysterious moving teaser. Although he did not reveal any details about it back then, fans very well know right now the details of the same.

For the unversed, the South Korean boyband GOT7 was formed by JYP Entertainment and comprised seven members. These members include BAMBAM, Yugyeom, Youngjae, Jackson, Mark, and Jay B. The group debuted way back in January 2014 and released their first-ever EP titled Got It? The EP peaked at number two on the prestigious Gaon Album Chart and number one on the Billboard World Album Chart. The group also ventured into the Japanese market in the same year and released their debut Japanese single titled Around the World. The group officially departed from JYP Entertainment on January 19, 2021.
