Read on to find out the latest updates on the Gotham spin-off, Gotham Knights.

DC Universe has one of the biggest character ensembles with live adventures and misadventures of their own. And currently, the franchise is all about its upcoming television series, so many that it takes a lot of effort to keep track of each one. That’s where we come to the rescue.

With series like Superman & Lois, The Flash, Pennyworth, Titans, Gotham, and more, DC is expanding its viewership by inculcating new and creative ideas to get a hold of the live-action genre. Another addition to that list will be the Gotham spin-off, where the story will revolve around Batman’s adopted son and the children of his enemies. We are not sure whether we’ll be seeing some original DC characters in the upcoming series or not, but everyone has high hopes for it on the basis of how well the original series, Gotham, performed.

Since the announcement of the spin-off, there have been multiple questions posed by the fans regarding when it will be released, what it is about, who all will be in the cast ensemble, and much more. So, here’s everything we know about the first season of the upcoming DC series, Gotham Knights:

Gotham Knights

When will Gotham Knights be released?

As of now, there has been no announcement regarding when exactly the series will hit the screens. But as per what we know and understand, it is set to premiere sometime in the year 2023, most likely in the first or second quarter.

How many episodes will be there in Gotham Knights?

Since the series was announced, the fans have been speculating the number of episodes that will be there in the first season of Gotham Nights and whether it will be following a similar release format to the original Bruce Wayne/Batman series Gotham or not. Though there has been no official announcement regarding the number of episodes, we estimate it to be somewhere around 12-15, unlike Gotham, which had 22 episodes each season except for the last. But any confirmation will only be made when the distributors or the channel will make a statement.

Is there a trailer for Gotham Knights?

The CW released the trailer of Gotham Knights, and trust us when we say that it is absolutely twisted. Batman’s adopted son Turner works with the kids of his most deadly enemies. Crazy, right? That’s what we thought too. To understand the situation these teens have found themselves in, check the trailer out:

What is Gotham Knights all about?

After Bruce Wayne/Batman’s alleged murder, his adopted son Turner and three other teens found themselves as the suspects in the case. Who are those three other teens? Children of Batman’s mortal enemies. The story will revolve around the four teens who will work together in order to clear their names and uncover whatever dark secrets have been hidden, and bring to light the actual murderer.

Who is in Gotham Knights?

  • Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, Bruce Wayne’s adopted son
  • Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela
  • Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley

Will there be a second season of Gotham Knights?

As of now, no announcement has been made regarding any further seasons of Gotham Knights. It is actually way too early for that too. The CW has released such limited information about the first season itself that it makes no sense for them to renew it for a sophomore season. As per what we know, if another season ever comes into being, it will only become official after the first season hits the screens.
