Alexis Floyd is reportedly joining the cast as a regular. In addition to Alexis Floyd, we also have Niko Terho joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy, according to Deadline, as a series regular.

The role of another first-year surgical resident will also be reprised by Midori Francis, who had previously featured in The Sex Lives of College Girls and Good Boys. The roles of the remaining surgical residents will be reprised by Adelaine Kane, who was previously seen in the popular historical drama, Reign, and Harry Shum Jr. Who was previously seen in Crazy Rich Asians.

With five first-year surgical residents, the upcoming season has murked itself with a lot of questions regarding its path. Will the residency be prevented from capsizing? If yes, then who will do that? Meredith?
