Hailey Bieber believes her baby, Jack Blues, lives the best life with his dad at home.
The model and skincare mogul credits husband, Justin Bieber, for making it easy for her to juggle motherhood and her professional career while still feeling like herself at all times.
In an interview during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in Australia on February 13, the Rhode Beauty founder opened up about how “having a great partner is really important” to create a balance.
“I’m here working and my son is at home with his dad living his best life,” she said, while adding, “Having that support is very freeing and makes the decision a little bit easier.”
Both Hailey and Justin see parenthood as a collaboration where they can enjoy doing what they love together.
“I’m always super excited to collaborate with the person that I love,” she shared. “[Justin and I] don’t think of it as a work thing. We look at it as, ‘How fun is it that we can both do the things that we’re passionate about, so let’s do something that we’re passionate about together.’”
She added, “We’re both people that really love things that feel effortless and seamless, and want to do things that feel fun.”
This is not the first time Hailey has praised Justin’s way of parenting. Last year, while speaking to Vogue Italia for their August issue, she said that Justin is not only a natural but an “extraordinary father” to their now 17-month-old son.
She added, “He told me, ‘I’m living the life I’ve always dreamed of’, but he’s also dealing with things that the public doesn’t see.”
In October last year, Hailey revealed on a podcast that their son Jack is never left alone without family.
“If he’s not with me, he’s with his dad,” she said. “He’s always with his family, and he’s always with one of us, or with his godparents.”
Justin’s love for his kid comes naturally as the singer had emphasized the importance of having kids really early into his marriage with Hailey.
In December 2020, while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Justin said that though he was excited to have a little tribe of kids, he wanted to respect Hailey’s timeline.
“I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out,” Justin said. “I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”
However, amid all this, Hailey had admitted back in May 2023 that she was “scared” to have kids due to how public her life is.
“I literally cry about this all the time,” she told The Sunday Times. “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”
Jack Blues Bieber is about to turn 18 months on February 22.
