Harry Styles and Taylor Russell have broken up, reports suggest.
An insider revealed to The Sun that the couple was “taking some time apart” as they hit “a rough patch,” and that the two have decided to go their separate ways after their Japan trip in April.
“He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy,” the insider further mentioned, adding, “Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.”
The couple who never openly accepted their relationship, were first romantically linked in July 2023 when Russell was spotted in the VIP section of Style’s Vienna concert to support him. The dating speculations intensified when, the former lovebirds were seen engaging in PDA after Taylor’s appearance in The Effect, at the National Theatre in London.
The breakup rumors started when Russell was spotted flying alone to attend the Met Gala 2024 and was seen on the red carpet without the “Daylight” singer. Talking about the outfit, Taylor opted for a beautiful wood-painted bodice, paired with an ivory slit skirt. The outfit was a custom Loewe design.
Coming to the “Adore You” singer’s recent outings, he was spotted in February at the Premier League match between the Luton Town team and Manchester United team.
Before the dating speculations of Harry and Russell, Styles was linked to Olivia Wilde for around two years before the two decided to call it quits in November 2022, and as for Taylor, she was last romantically linked to her Waves co-star Lucas Hedges.
