Has BLACKPINK’s Jisoo joined G-Dragon’s agency? Galaxy Corporation denies it

The latest reports stated that all the BLACKPINK members have renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment. However, none of them have signed their solo contracts with the agency yet. Following these statements, there were speculations about Jisoo joining Galaxy Corporation, the same company that G-Dragon joined after having left YG Entertainment. However, the company has now denied and clarified all the rumors associated with the BLACKPINK member too.

Galaxy Corporation confirmed on December 29, 2023, that BLACKPINK member Jisoo has not signed any contract with them for her solo activities. A South Korean media outlet reached out to the renowned company and asked for their confirmation regarding the latest rumors. The official related to the agency stated that it was not true. They stressed the fact that Jisoo did not join Galaxy Corporation. Earlier, it was confirmed that G-Dragon had signed his contract with the AI company Galaxy Corporation on December 21. They further announced that the artist will be making a comeback in 2024.

BLACKPINK’s Activities

YG Entertainment confirmed on December 6, 2023, that they had reached an agreement with the board of directors regarding the signing of group contracts by all the members of the BLACKPINK group. Here is what Yang Hyun Suk, the executive producer of the agency, said, “We are happy to be able to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK will continue to do their best to shine even brighter in the global music market as artists representing not only our agency but also K-pop, and we send our unwavering support and faith for their future steps.” Later, the agency also stated on December 29 that the solo activities of the group members would not be handled by them henceforth.

This was followed by one of the members from BLACKPINK, Jennie, announcing her own agency, named ODD ATELIER. It was further reported that her former managers from YG Entertainment will be joining the diva and become a part of her new endeavor. Moreover, there have been rumors that Lisa has reportedly signed with an overseas agency. However, none of the latter reports have been proven by any media outlet yet.
