What could we expect to happen in Heartbreak High Season 2?

In season 1, we saw Harper and Amerie getting back together after she unveiled her trauma with Chook. According to Elle, “In season two, we’ll likely see the BFFs take more revenge on Chook, who clearly needs to be put in his place.”
In addition to this, Amerie’s relationship with Malakai is seemingly dying out; however, there’s more to what the eye can see.

However, if we take an educated guess, the second season of this modernized romance drama is not expected to be a part of the Netflix library before 2024. If the fortune is in favor, then maybe late 2023.
This guess is bolstered by the release dates and production technicalities of season 1. According to Elle, Season 1 took approximately one and a half years for casting, production, and post-production. Assuming that season 2 will also take a similar time, it cannot be expected to release before 2024.
