What is the expected plot of Heartstopper?
This British coming-of-age romance drama based on the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman tells the story of two British teens, Nick Nelson (soft-hearted rugby player) and Charlie Spring (openly gay overthinker), at an all-boys grammar school.
Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring’s friendship quickly starts to grow into something else after one day when they are made to sit together. Here, Charlie starts to develop feelings for Nick but keenly believes that he doesn’t really have a chance with Nick which turns out to be wrong. This emotionally charged series covering topics like love, friendship, loyalty, and mental illness is a celebration of young queer love in all its forms.
