Here is how the BTS members showed support for V’s Layover

On September 8, 2023, BTS’ V unveiled his highly anticipated solo album, “Layover,” and the release has been met with tremendous excitement and love from fans worldwide. Notably, V’s fellow BTS members, RM, Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin, have all shown their heartfelt support for his solo venture. Both expressed their love and admiration for V’s solo album via their Instagram stories.

The BTS leader shared Kim Taehyung’s song “Slow Dancing” from the album on his Instagram story, contributing to the album’s promotion. Meanwhile, J-Hope created a charming collage that featured V’s pet dog, Yeontan, who shares a birthday with the album’s release date, while the song “Love Me Again” played in the background.

Jimin also joined in celebrating V’s solo album by posting a screenshot of “Slow Dancing” on his Instagram feed. He added a caption that included celebratory emojis and the hashtags #V #Layover and #slow_dancing, expressing his excitement and pride for V’s achievement.

Jin Congratulates V on Weverse

BTS member Jin, who is currently serving in the military, conveyed his congratulations to V on the fan community platform Weverse. In his post, Jin playfully encouraged V with phrases like “hwaiting V” and “hwaiting bweo,” expressing his admiration for V’s looks and talent. He also humorously mentioned a friendly competition overlooks with his fellow BTS member.

Tae Bear’s solo debut album, “Layover,” made an immediate impact on the global music scene. The album soared to the top of various music charts upon its release, including securing the #1 position on Oricon’s daily album chart in Japan, selling an impressive 221,491 copies on its first day. Furthermore, within a mere five hours of its release, “Layover” claimed the #1 spot on iTunes charts in over 75 countries, solidifying V’s status as a global music sensation.
