This is also called the butterfly pose. Both the legs are folded like the wings of a butterfly with the feet touching each other. This helps in easing the heaviness of the lower body. This helps in muscle relaxation. If the pose feels difficult, try sitting on a folded blanket for comfort.
It is also known as the head to knee pose. To practice this, straighten your right leg forward and place the bottom of your left foot on the inner right thigh. Center your weight over the right leg and fold forward. To switch to the left leg, come back to the Baddha Konasana and start the pose with the left leg. Setu Bandha Sarvangasana
This asana is like a bridge pose. It helps in relieving back pain during menstruation. Period cramps often bring back pain. This simple and quick pose can help you out. For this pose, you need to lie down on your back. Then, lift your hips by putting pressure on your feet. With this yoga pose, your back will get into a pain-relieving position.
Supta Baddha Konasana
This pose is also known as the Goddess pose. If seen properly, it is a reclined pose of the butterfly or Baddha Konasana. Bring the bottom part of your right and left feet together. Stay in a reclined position. This can help you in attaining a position of relaxation while ending a yoga session.
