Amanda Bynes, who recently drew attention for her notable transformation, is once again making headlines. The former child star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday night to announce the temporary hiatus of her podcast, “Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast,” providing followers with an update on the situation.

In a selfie-style video, 37-year-old Amanda Bynes shared, “So even though the podcast is doing really well and the response has been great, I’m going to take a pause on it for now.”

Why did Amanda Bynes take a break from her podcast?

She elaborated on her decision, stating, “We are not able to get the type of guests that I’d like on the show like say Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we’re able to get those types of guests on the show, we will resume the podcast. But for now, I’m taking a pause on it.”

The “What A Girl Wants” star wrapped up the video by expressing gratitude to her fans and followers for their support of the project. She stated, “Thank you everyone who watched, I really hope you enjoyed it. And that is all for now!

Bynes began her podcast on December 9

Bynes, alongside co-host Paul Sieminski, kicked off their debut episode on December 9, featuring an interview with Los Angeles tattoo artist Dahlia Moth in a 26-minute segment. The podcast, as outlined in the synopsis, was slated to delve into “the hosts’ loves: fashion, artists, actors, actresses, music, and everything else!”

Bynes initially unveiled the project on Instagram, emphasizing the addition of Sieminski, a biochemist, as her co-host. In a video, she remarked, “Having his beautiful mind being a part of this podcast is just going to bring it to another level I think, because he’s going to ask great questions, and I think he’ll kind of carry most of the weight in terms of just, like, topics of conversation.”

Bynes on her newfound independence

Discussing her vision for the show, she outlined plans to initiate interviews with their friends and subsequently expressed aspirations to transition into mainstream conversations by “interviewing celebrities and artists.”

The ‘She’s The Man’ actress, who recently resumed work following the termination of her nearly nine-year-long conservatorship in March, shared her commitment to health and independence. Through her lawyer, David A. Esquibias, she told People, “In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.”
