The Spanish title of this Netflix original film is Amor de Madre, which translates to ‘Mother’s Love’. The movie is directed by Paco Caballero and written by Cristóbal Garrido, Adolfo Valor. Paco Caballero is known for Cites (2015), Doble Check (2011) and Abuelitos (2007).
Honeymoon With My Mother Plot
As revealed from the trailer, the movie is about a man who is dumped on his wedding day by his fiance. The chaos is created based on the honeymoon as he cannot go on his honeymoon alone. The mother assumes that he will die on the honeymoon, and she does not want it. Don’t ask why and how. So, a man gives her the idea to go on a honeymoon with her son.
At first, the mother is shocked and angry. But later, both the mother-son duo agrees to go to Mauritius. After coming on the trip, they are offered a love package. Then, they enjoy various activities they get to do for free after pretending that they’re newlyweds. But then, seeing her mother drinking and partying, the son becomes angry at her, but later, he begins to understand his mother and why he loves her so much.
