We don’t know why exactly it is, but there’s something about shows which have elaborate scams and planning in them that fascinates the viewers more than anything else. The unmatchable charm of the main con, the manners, impeccable at what they do best and their unparalleled wits, along with a lot of action, thrill, adrenaline-pumping, all of it combined makes a fantastic con show which sometimes makes us want to be that person. Isn’t it?
And the makers leave no stone unturned in order to get such stories to the viewers. Whether it is any fictional series like ABC’s Reef Break or based on true crime like The Tinder Swindler, the craze of this genre is increasing day by day.
Another project from this genre is Imposters, two seasons of which are already on air and is rated 92% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. If that leaves you wondering about Imposters Season 3, you are at the right place.
Here’s everything we know so far.
Will there be Imposters Season 3?
No. We won’t get to see Imposters Season 3 unless there is any change of plans. Disappointing, right? Well, we all are disheartened but it is what it is. The original streaming channel, Bravo canceled Imposters Season 3 because of the ratings being lower than anticipated and a steady decline in the viewership graph.
So #Imposters won’t be back for a 3rd season, at least on @bravotv. We’re all sad but such is life. We had a great run and I’m grateful for all of it. For now we’re talking to @netflix about picking the show up. If you’d like to see this happen, let @netflix know! #alwaysforward pic.twitter.com/uf8cgDH7Km

As for the story, there isn’t an actual cliffhanger that the viewers were left at after the second season but there were a lot of expanding opportunities and more stories to tell. While Bravo dropped the show, Twitter flooded with tweets from the fans expecting other platforms to pick it up (some requests are too cute to be ignored).

Maddie Jonson or Ava or Alice or CeCe or Saffron or maybe Molly, by whatever name you know her, is a con-artist who makes rich people fall in love with them, marries them, and flees with their money. Three of Maddie’s old spouses, Ezra, Richard and Jules venture out together in order to find her and confront her for her actions. While the trio manages to track down her personal details of family and hometown, Maddie finds her new target in the city of Seattle and sets off her plan.
However, things go a bit off the road when feelings start sparking between Maddie and the undercover FBI agent, Patrick after they met at a coffee shop.
While the cast is a long and talented one, the core cast that appeared in both the seasons is mentioned below:
Inbar Lavi as Maddie
Rob Heaps as Ezra Bloom
Parker Young as Richard Evans
Marianne Rendón as Jules
Stephen Bishop as Patrick
Brian Benben as Max
How many episodes are there in Imposters Season 2?
Imposters Season 2 has 10 episodes just like its Season 1.
Where to watch Imposters?
Originally, Bravo aired the two seasons of the show; however, Netflix acquired the distribution rights later, and now both seasons are available for streaming on the platform. It can also be rented or purchased on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Google Play, and Vudu.
What else can you watch?
Though there is no upcoming announcement regarding Imposters Season 3, one can always binge-watch a good con-artist story instead. The Tinder Swindler, Inventing Anna, and The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman are great options. And the good thing is all of them are available on Netflix.
