Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston may no longer be partners, but Pitt still wishes nothing but the best for her.
Pitt has reportedly opened up about his ex-wife’s rumored romance, and he is happy for her. An insider revealed Pitt’s feelings about Aniston’s closeness with Jim Curtis, 50, to Daily Mail on Wednesday.
“Brad couldn’t be more pleased that Jen has found love with this guy who seems so tuned into her,” the insider said.
He added that even though their marriage didn’t end on a good note, he still has a soft spot for her.
“His marriage ended — with a bang and a whimper — two decades ago, but he never lost his affection for her,” the insider added.
“When you find the right partner, all’s right with the world. He hopes the same is true about Jen.”

The Fight Club actor met Aniston in 1994 when their managers introduced them to each other. The couple then started dating in 1998, two years before getting married in July 2000. Pitt and Aniston were one of the most loved couples. The Big Short actor even made a guest appearance in the sitcom Friends in 2001, as Will Colbert, who hated Rachel Green (Aniston’s character).
The couple announced their separation in 2005, one year after rumours started spreading about Pitt’s relationship with Maleficent actress Angelina Jolie. Even though their joint statement read that, “This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another,” reports at that time suggested that the Bullet Train actor famously cheated on Aniston with Jolie during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
After a rough divorce in 2005, the ex-couple sparked reconciliation rumors when Pitt was spotted at Aniston’s birthday party in 2019, one year before the two were reportedly seen hugging backstage at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards, which made it look like they are on good terms now.

In other news, Pitt’s love life has always made headlines. He later married Jolie in 2014 at their Château Miraval estate in Correns, France, exactly two years before the couple filed for divorce in 2016. After an eight-year-long legal battle, the divorce was finalized in 2024.
The ex-couple shares six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne — all of whom have dropped Pitt from their surname after the legal battle. During the rapidly spreading LA fire, Pitt was desperate to talk to his children, a close source to Daily Mail revealed that his efforts went unnoticed.
“Brad said he’s tired of Angelina playing the victim role when he’s the one who has been stripped of his family, his kids,” an insider told the media outlet.
“He wants what’s best for the kids and radical forgiveness is what needs to happen in order to bring true healing into the equation.”
Pitt is currently dating jewelry executive and certified health coach Ines de Ramon since late 2022. Their romance became more public in 2023, with reports suggesting that Ramon has “impressed his inner circle, who all hope the couple will eventually marry”.
