Who said cartoons are just for kids? Research suggests that Tom and Jerry was originally created as an undertone political commentary of the United States of America, and our favorite characters, whom we innocently watched, actually represented various nations and ideas. This is just one among the hundreds out there.
Today, mature animated shows have been coming out of various OTT platforms for people who cannot watch gory horror or violence. With shows like Rick and Monty getting famous, how can we forget the other sitcoms spun around the genre? Well, Bigmouth is one among them. When we show off or speak something out of turn, do you remember how our family members and friends refer to us as the bigmouth? Well, saying what’s on your mind while you are young is never an easy deal. After six successful seasons, fans are wondering if this 2017-based show would return for a new season.
Is Big Mouth Season 7 canceled?
No. The show is not canceled. In fact, the Big Mouth Season 7 is set to premiere on October 20, 2023. We already have updates on the eighth season, as well. But it is also mentioned that the eighth season is the last and is scheduled for release in 2024.
This show has a spin-off named Human Resources, which can be expected to continue even after the eight seasons are complete here, as that sitcom has only had two seasons so far and came out in 2022. But recent interviews suggest that Human resources has also been ended after two seasons. So, will there be more spin-offs or the entire franchise has come to an end?

Big Mouth Season 7 Plot
The official synopsis of the show reads, “Even for a cartoon character, going through puberty isn’t easy for a young person. Andrew is learning that first hand as he experiences the nightmare that is growing up in this animated series geared toward adults. Along for the ride are friends Nick and Jessi, who develop a budding romance along the way. The comedy veterans who lend their voices to “Big Mouth” include John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph and Jordan Peele.”
The seventh season will deal with more complex and adulting themes, as the first season was mild and set the base, but progressive seasons got more explicit and serious. While the first season saw the onset of adolescence and exploring sexual orientation and menstruation in girls, the upcoming seasons saw depression, race, asexuality, women shaming, true love, etc.
The seventh season will see more complex social, emotional, and sexual turmoils, and it would be interesting to watch how these mythical creatures make it out of Bridgeton Middle. With season 6 ending on the note that Jessi realized her sister Delilah is not the hell-born, the family of cheese demons and their conception broke. With Delilah being more in focus for this season, the relationship between mother and stepmother, as well as other relations, will be seen. Andrew and Bernie broke up, and Andrew had a chance to fix his family. With every character growing personally, let us see what unfolds on October 20, 2023.
