Bob Hearts Abishola Season 3: What happened in the finale episode?

The finale episode, Beard In Her Pulpit, was released on May 23, 2022. The episode is directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller and written by Al Higgins & Gina Yashere & Matt Ross. The viewers get to see that Bob and Tunde are both outraged at Sunday church services when they find that the longstanding pastor has abruptly quit to take a job at a megachurch near Chicago. However, when the charismatic new Pastor Falade arrives, the entire congregation is eager to move forward with him. Falade reveals himself as a decent man right away by accepting Ogechi’s unpleasant outing of Morenike and telling her he’s pleased she’s a member of the church, and Ebunoluwa finds him to be witty and charming as well.

Both Bob and Ebunoluwa have begun texting with Pastor Falade as a result of his inspiration, but Bob’s entails a search to reconcile the elements of Christianity that he finds laughable, and Ebunoluwa’s is just about her attraction to the pastor. When Ogechi is removed from her role as a prayer leader, and Olu is given the post, Olu (and Tunde) is ecstatic to have first dibs on the latest church gossip but are left in the dark when Ogechi indicates that Pastor Falade has feelings for one of the female parishioners.

Abishola recognizes the parishioner in issue as her unhappy married mother, but because she discovered how unhappy Ebunoluwa was in her marriage by pretending to be a spirit guide in her mission to get her mother to come back to Lagos from Detroit, she can’t really say or do anything but look disturbed. Dottie gives hefty bonuses to Douglas, Christina (for past efforts), and first-time top management star Kofo at MaxDot. Kofo spends his bounty on flamboyant clothing, revealing to Goodwin that he was left behind by the bonus train.

He argues strongly with Bob, and Bob tries to persuade Dottie to show Goodwin some monetary appreciation. Dottie refuses, stating Bob is welcome to give Goodwin any of his own bonuses. Bob decides to get Goodwin a fine new jacket with two tickets to the 2022 Detroit Lions’ home opener in its pocket, telling him that his ship will arrive soon. When Goodwin hangs up the phone, it’s revealed that he’s interviewing at Toesy Wosey’s for a new position—one that Christina suggested to him for and Season 3 comes to an end.
