She advises Jay to keep pushing forward to launch their company regardless of the challenges they face. When Jenkins, a subordinate, tells Isaac that Nigel has entered the afterlife, Isaac is devastated because he had intended to tell Nigel that he liked him.
The Revolutionary-era ghosts explain their bewilderment and acknowledge that they like each other when Nigel approaches Isaac later on, thinking he was having an affair with Thorfinn. The Arondekars maintain their business after defeating the Farnsbys by forfeit, but, as they greet their first visitors, they slip and fall through a weak floor into the basement.
