The Upside-Down Has Been Turned Right-Side Up, Which Means The Land Between Evil And Good Has Merged.

Eleven has finally regained her powers to destroy Vecna.

In this heated instance, is it possible for Millie Bobby Brown to be leaving Stanger Things before its final chapter?

Being the primary protagonist around which the plotline of the titular series Stranger Things is built, it will be a void if, indeed, Millie Bobby Brown is contemplating leaving the show. How did we come to this epiphany? Let’s take a look at what instigated this conversation in the first place.

Deadline reports a recent interview with Glamour where the Stranger Things star is saying goodbye to the show. Brown attributes her stardom to Stranger Things and her character of Eleven as an affirmative catalyst for her overnight success. In lieu of this statement of her leave, unwavering skepticism has erupted all over the internet where the Stranger fandom is under the impression that Brown won’t be a part of Season 5 and her recent goodbye meant she will not be starring as Eleven for the final showdown against Vecna.

Stranger Things Season 5: Release date, plot, potential theories, cast, episodes, teaser trailer, and other details

If you have surfed your way to this article hoping that this misconception is shattered, you have come to the right place. Millie Bobby Brown announced her departure from the Stranger Things family, but the fifth and final season is set to air in 2025, not before that. So yes, you will witness a classic Eleven showdown with her powers back and everything.

Continuing on the gratitude Brown expressed in her interview with Glamour, she compares the upcoming end of the show to graduating from high school. She said, “When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” Brown, who was saying. “Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”

Continuing, she reiterated in the interview that the show had given her the tools to be a better actor. Adding to this, she said, “No one is dying, when it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.” Brown conjured innumerable accolades for her character Eleven over the years since its inception. She was nominated for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She went on to win the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and won the 43rd Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. For her role as Eleven in the second season of Stranger Things, she received her second nomination for a SAG Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018.

Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date After WGA Strike Ends

After four long months of tireless picketing and negotiations, we finally witnessed the AMPTP and WGA strike a deal where the union’s negotiations were met with zeal and posed great gains for them. Stranger Things fans will be delighted to know that the writer’s room for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things has huddled back to etch the swan song of the epic series. Here is a post to confirm that:

So does this mean filming will begin soon? Let’s find out!

For starters, the ink for the final season had already begun writing before the strikes. “We’re walking into season five. I’ve got a couple more months to train. We start shooting that in June, though, and that will be the final season. I did a lot of training for season four. He [Hopper] was in a very specific position, that Russian prison.”

However, then the production posted this update:

And now that the fair deal has been reached, they updated their X account that they are back and getting ready to finish off writing for the final season.

Stirring the pot of bad luck enters the SAG AFTRA, whose riff with the AMPTP ignited a strike that is still on, although negotiations for the same are underway. Keep a close eye on their social media accounts like Twitter because the union updates their pages on an hourly basis.

In other news, as a teaser for the first look of Season 5, the official writer’s page of Stranger Things uploaded a pre-vis one day before the WGA strike ended. On their official X page, the Stranger Things writers released a pre-vis video of Steve Harrington (Joe Kerry) making a face as his head turns towards the camera. The caption humorously read, “Hope the studios make a fair deal with SAG soon, or else season 5 is looking like this.” The writers would go on to reveal that this quick video was indeed a first look at Season 5’s first episode. The Duffers are certain of one thing: the ending. “We know what the ending is,” they told SFX. “It’s conceivable that it changes but I think it’s unlikely because it’s one of those endings that just feels, and has always felt, right. David Harbour also said he knows how the series ends, and it’s going to be “very, very moving.”
