Reacher Season 2 Release Date: When will it return on Prime Video?
For curious readers, we can inform you that after much anticipation, the second season of the action crime series, which is developed by Nick Santora for Prime Video, is officially on the way! The series was renewed for a second season right after the success of the first season as it became one of the most streamed television series, making it the first Amazon production to achieve the feat. Hence, the early renewal was a no-brainer move by the network in order to meet the demands of the fans.
Soon after being approved, the production of the show began, and after months, it completed its filming earlier this year, as the crew went right back into getting the post-production sorted despite all the writer’s and actor’s strikes happening! Due to this, the series has not been delayed, and it is now officially set to make its official return for the winter streaming season, with the release window all set for December 2023! However, we would highlight that the exact release date has not been confirmed yet, which will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
The official release window has been announced at the right time because the viewers are ready to delve right into another action series and get all the latest updates for the upcoming Prime Video line-up, which was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of the network with a brand new teaser trailer of 1:46 minutes featuring all the new and old shows that are slated to return this year, quoting, “It’s an exciting time to have Prime.”

Reacher Season 2 Plot: What can the fans expect to see in the new season?
After becoming one of the most streamed television series according to the Nielsen streaming rankings, the much anticipated second season will be based on “Bad Luck and Trouble.” Moreover, the official Amazon logline for the second season is a bit more ferocious and captivating, to say the least, as it gives a bit of the season’s plot and what the viewers can expect from the show going forward into the new chapter: “When the members of Reacher’s old military unit start turning up dead, Reacher has just one thing on his mind—revenge.”
Warning: The following paragraph contains some major spoilers!
If you don’t know, “Bad Luck and Trouble,” is the eleventh book in the Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child. It was published in 2007 and written in the third person. The plot of the book follows, from a helicopter high above the California desert, a man who is sent free-falling into the night. On the streets of Portland, Jack Reacher is pulled out of his wandering life and plunged into the heart of a conspiracy that is killing old friends and the people he once trusted with his life. Reacher is the ultimate loner—no phone, no ties, no address.
But a woman from his old military unit has found him using a signal only the eight members of their elite team would know. Then she tells him a terrifying story about the brutal death of a man they both served with. Soon, Reacher is reuniting with the survivors of his team, scrambling to unravel the sudden disappearance of two other comrades. But Reacher won’t give up—because in a world of bad luck and trouble, when someone targets Jack Reacher and his team, they’d better be ready for what comes right back at them.

Eventually, the viewers learn that the cops immediately arrest him, and eyewitnesses claim to place Reacher at the scene of the crime.
