The Rookie: Feds Plot
According to the official press release by ABC, From the executive producers of the flagship series “The Rookie” comes “The Rookie: Feds” starring Niecy Nash-Betts as Simone Clark, the oldest rookie in the FBI Academy. The spinoff was introduced as a two-part event during the current fourth season of “The Rookie,” where Officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and the LA division of the FBI enlist the help of Simone Clark when one of her former students is a suspect in a terror attack.
The Rookie: Feds will follow protagonist Simone Clark as she becomes the oldest trainee ever to attend the FBI Academy. “The Rookie: Feds” stars Niecy Nash-Betts as Simone Clark, Frankie Faison as Christopher “Cutty” Clark, and Felix Solis as Special Agent Matthew Garza. Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter are co-creators and executive producers. Mark Gordon, Niecy Nash-Betts, Nathan Fillion, Michelle Chapman, Bill Norcross, and Corey Miller are executive producers. Felix Solis as Special Agent Matthew Garza: A 20-year veteran in the FBI and a believer in his employer’s ways. On the edge of being promoted to a leadership position.
Britt Robertson as Laura Stensen: The “black sheep” of an academic family and the youngest person to work in the FBI’s behavioral analysis unit.
Kevin Zegers as Brendon Acres: An actor on the TV series Vampire Cop, a whiz in computer science, and a recent graduate of Quantico.
James Lesure as Carter Hope: A successful lawyer who became a model FBI agent. Conservative and traditional in his approach to justice, Carter will have to take on his biggest challenge yet: training Simone Clark, whose methods are the opposite of his beliefs.
