IU is finally gearing up to meet her fans in person at a special meet-up! EDAM Entertainment, the agency associated with the idol, confirmed this through an announcement on August 8, 2025.
This was displayed across all the social media handles of IU. The fan meet-up titled “Bye, Summer” will be held at the KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Stadium) located in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul in September. For the unversed, this will be IU’s first official offline fan event in the past two years.

IU’s plans for the upcoming concert
The upcoming fan concert marks a long gap after the singer’s 11th anniversary fan meeting, which was held almost six years ago in 2019.
Earlier in September 2023, IU also held a fan concert at the same place to celebrate her 15th anniversary. At that time, she presented a total of 19 songs on the music stage. She also met with fans at the Seoul World Cup Stadium with a performance of “IU HEREH World Tour Concert Encore: The Winning” last year.
When and where to buy tickets?
Tickets for the upcoming fan concert by IU will be officially available through Melon Ticket. Meanwhile, all members of the idol’s fan club can easily purchase tickets early on August 11 at 8 p.m. On the other hand, general ticket sales for the much-anticipated event will start on August 13 at 8 p.m.
IU’s performance in ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’
The idol has also ventured into the acting world apart from her love for music. Everyone loved IU’s evocative dual performance in the critically acclaimed series When Life Gives You Tangerines. With this, the K-pop idol has left an enduring impression on audiences after having entered another chapter in her career.
Here’s what she said about her performance in the popular series, “I feel like I’m busier than ever, but I’m enjoying life. Recently, I’ve begun filming for a new drama called Wife of a 21st Century Prince (working title), and I have a feeling that 2025 will be a packed and fulfilling year.
