As it turns out, Jennifer Lawrence’s interviews aren’t the only thing that she finds awkward. Apparently, her recent catch-up with Kylie & Kendall Jenner surfaced certain things she said about their elder sister.
According to Page Six, the Hunger Games actress attended the Dior flagship VIP dinner in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday, where she ran into the Jenner sisters. As per the recent photos shared, Lawrence was snapshotted posing alongside the sister duo, with Kylie standing in the middle and Kendall placing her hand on her sister’s back. According to The Daily Mail, the dinner featured celebrity guests celebrating the opening of Dior’s new Beverly Hills flagship store, designed by the architect Peter Marino.
The trio followed the dress code for the exclusive event, donning all black attire. Their run-in sparked a lot of curiosity amongst the onlookers, considering that just a week before, Lawrence, 35, frankly shared her thoughts about Kourtney Kardashian, 46, while talking about her infatuation with reality television during the lie detector test with Vanity Fair.
The Academy Award winner said, “Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts”, while talking to her Die My Love star Robert Pattinson. Pattinson nudged his co-actress to elaborate, which led her to say, “Because everything has to be an announcement.”
According to the news outlet, Lawrence was referring to an episode on the latest season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, when Kourtney apparently shaded her sisters Khloe and Kim for making an effort to dress up. Based on this incident, Lawrence further expressed, “It’s like, you know, ‘I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.’ Like, just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it.”
“Or like, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Like, just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shhh!”, the actress added.

Later in the interview, the actress admitted that while she hasn’t watched the current season of The Kardashians, she has seen TikTok clips of the series. Meanwhile, Pattinson pulled up the photo of Khloé and asked his co-star if this Kardashian was her favorite.
Lawrence promptly replied, “Yes.”
This is not the first time that the No Hard Feelings actress has talked about being a fan of the Kardashians. Per The Daily Mail, Lawrence revealed that she returned to the show while filming the 2017 horror film, Mother!
Speaking to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon at the time, she said, “I’ve said it before, but I got to such a low point in this film, and going into such a dark place that I eventually had to bring the Kardashians in. Not in person, obviously! I had to do this one scene, and I hadn’t gone that dark before; I had never done something that horrifying.”
She continued, “I started getting scared a couple of days before, so I was like, I need a tent to keep away from all the extras because I didn’t know what I would do. It was just a computer that was playing the Kardashians, and had head shots, and it also had notes to me from them, that I had written. I can’t share any of them because I don’t want to offend anybody, and they’re my own personal thoughts…”
Lawrence reportedly has a close relationship with Jenner-Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner. Back in 2015, the matriarch took to Instagram to celebrate the actress’s birthday with a photo of themselves in bed.
In 2024, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Silver Linings Playbook actress talked about being a fan of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She said to the news outlet, “I just want to give a shout-out to the best finale I have ever seen on reality TV.”
Lawrence said that she was so “jaw-dropped” with the finale that she “didn’t even text” the whole time.
