Justin Bieber recently performed in Italy over the weekend at the famous Lucca Summer Festival after taking some time off to recover from the face-paralyzing syndrome. The singer’s wife, Hailey Bieber, was quick to take to social media and talk about the same. She took to Instagram to say how proud she was of her husband while posting a clip of the singer and said, “One thing I know for certain is you can’t keep this guy down…” Her caption was accompanied by multiple emojis.

This is my first day back. It’s so good to be here. As some of you guys know, the ‘Justice Tour’ is about equality. It’s about justice for all. No matter what you look like, no matter your shape, your size, your ethnicity. We’re all the same, we’re all one. We know that racism is evil. We know that division is evil. It is wrong. A few weeks ago, Justin Bieber announced that he was canceling all his world tours because he got diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. The Canadian singer said that he had to cancel the tour dates because he was physically not capable of doing them. In yet another instance, Bieber said that his eye is not blinking and that he cannot smile on one side of his face. He further said, “It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.”
For the unversed, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that paralyzes the facial nerve and causes a rash that affects the mouth or the ear. The condition is also called Herpes Zoster Oticus. Sometimes, the condition also causes hearing loss or ringing in the ears.
