Although the romantic chapter between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears has long since closed, it seems there are lingering matters the songstress wishes to address.
In her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ Spears candidly expresses her perspective now that she has regained her independence from the conservatorship. Notably, the ‘Toxic’ singer also makes reference to her former boyfriend, Timberlake, a revelation that has reportedly left him rather displeased.
Timberlake ‘not at all happy’ with Spears’ revelations
As reported by Page Six, Timberlake is said to be “not at all happy” with the revelations made by Spears in her book but has not reached out to her amid the rising controversies. Before the book’s release, the former NSYNC band member was also reportedly “concerned” about its content.
“Justin has not reached out to Britney at all about any of this, and he is not going to because there is nothing he can say to her,” a source dished the Daily Mail on Tuesday. The insider emphasized that Spears is “just telling it from her point of view,” and Timberlake reportedly is not “OK with it.”
“Justin is not at all happy about what has come out in this book,” the source claimed. “Doing this book has given Britney life, and she really doesn’t care who is offended by anything in it because it is what happened. She was there and lived through it. No one can say anything. She has got this all out of her and is moving on now.”
What did Spears write about Timberlake in her book?
In the book, Spears, 41, candidly spoke of her romance with Timberlake, 42, and revealed that she had an abortion because he “didn’t want to be a father.” Following the release of her statements, old videos of Timberlake resurfaced on Twitter, where he can be seen mocking Spears and ‘bragging’ about taking her virginity in interviews. The former couple dated back from 1999 to 2002 until Spears was dumped via text by the boy bander.

Spears’ book may have ruined Timberlake’s anniversary celebrations
Timberlake has yet to make any official comments since the book’s release on Tuesday. However, the insider reveals that the bombshell revelations have ruined the ‘Cry Me A River’ singer’s 11th wedding anniversary on October 19 with his wife, Jessica Biel.
“Britney’s book coming out with all the revelations coming from it has not been the best for his anniversary celebrations,” a second source told the Mail.
“Having it in the zeitgeist hasn’t been a topic of constant conversation, but Justin and Jessica have definitely talked about it. And to have to think of all of that during a time when they should celebrate their love for each other hasn’t been the most satisfying of days lately; it has been a bit stressful,” the insider added.
