Looks like things are escalating between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau. And by that, we mean they just went on the Lifetimes Tour Official (a huge step in any relationship).
So, what’s going on with these two? While there was initially some speculation that they were simply having a business meeting when they were seen dining together in Montreal, sources have since spoken to The Sun and confirmed that the vibe is far from platonic.
TMZ reported that Trudeau and Perry grabbed drinks at Taverne Atlantic, a nightcap on a busy day together.
The former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, beamed as he watched the Firework hitmaker take the stage at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Wednesday. In a now-viral photo posted to social media, eagle-eyed fans spotted Trudeau among the 21,000-strong crowd on their feet during Perry’s show, dressed casually for the occasion, donning a black t-shirt and dark pants. Other online images show the former politician busting out a few dance moves alongside his 16-year-old daughter, Ella-Grace, who attended the gig with him.

The outing and subsequent concert come just over a month after it was confirmed that Katy and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, who share a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, decided to end their engagement. The news came after a period of speculation that the singer and Pirates of the Caribbean star had called it quits, their public appearances together growing rarer.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is, and always will be, raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect,” they both stated.
Per Page Six, Trudeau and Perry have reportedly been in contact “for weeks” after meeting at an unspecified event and bonding over their shared interests about “making the world a better place.”

“Bro must be DOWN BAD if he’s willing to go to (a Lifetime) concert,” commented one fan. “Imagine getting good seats at a concert and you see a former head of state just hanging out to support his new girlfriend,” another quipped. While a third wrote: “This is genuinely the happiest he’s been in a while.”
And Trudeau wasn’t the only intriguing face in the crowd at Perry’s ongoing “Lifetimes” tour. Bloom’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares 14-year-old son Flynn, also caught the tour this week as it continues its run. Perry’s next show is in Quebec City on August 1 before the tour wraps in December.
