Kanye West is currently mired in yet another controversy again. The rapper is reportedly under investigation after he allegedly snatched a woman’s phone from her hands and further tossed it into the street. The incident reportedly happened after she refused to stop filming him. According to a report by Fox News, the incident took place as Ye was leaving his daughter North West’s basketball game on Friday last week.

The video

In a viral video posted on social media, the controversial rapper who is also a fashion designer can be seen getting out of his car and confronting a woman while she was filming him from her own vehicle. He reportedly also accused the woman of following him. However, when she tried to argue that she could film him because he was a celebrity, Kanye West allegedly gets his hands inside her car, grabs her phone, and throws it into the street.

The aftermath

According to Fox News, a few things remain unclear about the incident. For instance, it is not known if the woman who was recording Kanye West was a professional photographer or one of his fans who recorded footage of him. It is also unclear how long she was allegedly filming Ye and what happened ahead of the rapper getting out of the car that caused the confrontation.

According to another report by TMZ, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the alleged scene and were provided video evidence of the said confrontation between Ye and the woman. No one was injured and there were no arrests as of late. However, Kanye West has since been named as a suspect in a battery investigation.
