Kendall Jenner has left her fans startled with the recent revelation of her plans.

According to Page Six, the 29-year-old supermodel is planning to quit her most sought-after and successful modeling career for an unexpected aesthetic passion: home design. Jenner’s decision to step away from the public eye is comprehensible, despite her glamorous career trajectory.

Since childhood, the American supermodel has grown up in the laser-vision of fame, making her reality TV debut at the age of 11, on the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. After signing a lucrative deal with Hulu in 2020, the show went on to become Hulu’s most-watched unscripted series. Be that as it may, Jenner admits that it was not her “biggest cup of tea.”

The Victoria’s Secret model, instead, revealed her true passion. And that’s not modeling. Speaking to Vogue Magazine, alongside her fellow model, Gigi Hadid, Jenner said, “I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes. I’m not kidding.”

Expressing her predilection for a simple life, the supermodel continued to state, “I love my space in LA, but I also really love the simple life. I like getting up every morning and throwing on a bathing suit or sweatpants and no makeup and just being free with my day.” Jenner further mentioned her tendency to think about the future, “but I try not to overplan because you know I’m a planner,” she said.

Providing a glimpse into her disposition, Jenner revealed that she is “a homebody” and on days when she’s not gracing the runway for high-end brands, she prefers “to feel normal.”

She said, “I love to go to the horse show dressed just like everybody else and have my helmet on and my sunglasses and my uniform, and I can compete under a completely different name.”

Earlier in August 2024, during her appearance on Emma Chamberlain’s “Anything Goes” podcast, the supermodel revealed the normalcy that she was used to while being surrounded by fame that was just growing exponentially when she was young.

She reminisced, “We went to school. We went to school as long as we could. I started home school, 11th and 12th grade. So even though we had a TV show at home, we were going to regular school all day and had our friends that we had from before the show started.”

Jenner admitted that although it wasn’t always a cakewalk, the setup had made things feel “kind of normal.” However, the model later expresses gratitude “because I think it could have been a lot worse.”

Talking about her sister, Kylie, the make-up mogul, Jenner revealed that they both enjoyed “a lot of stability, a lot of love and a really great support system and really great friends.”

Appreciating their strong familial bond for which the Kardashians are known, Jenner added, “There’s also an aspect of us being really grateful that we had older siblings that we got to see do things before us and lead us in a way.”

Per Page Six, both Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner donned a bold cavalier appearance for Vogue’s October 2025 issue. Interestingly, the duo who grew up horseback riding seemed to have no difficulty in balancing their riding skills along with their sartorial abilities. Styling frilly McQueen dresses, with Jenner in a light purple and Hadid in mint green, the supermodels were photographed by Lachlan Bailey at the Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Acknowledging their close bond with each other in an interview conducted by Chloe Malle, head of American Vogue’s editorial content, Hadid said, “I think the base of our friendship is that we respect the same things that we see in each other when we go to work. We’re not there to ask for special treatment. We always work hard.”

Adding to Hadid’s point, Jenner shared, “We’re sisters more than we’re friends.”

According to Page Six, the “KenGi” duo took the fashion industry by storm in the early 2010s.

Reminiscing about the good old days, Jenner admitted, “I was your biggest fan. And once we started to work together and do shows, I remember those early seasons — we would do the whole month together.”
