Kengan Ashura Season 2: What to expect?

The series will continue from the first season, in which we see that since the Edo period of Japan, gladiator arenas have existed in certain areas. In these arenas, wealthy business owners and merchants hire gladiators to fight in unarmed combat, where the winner takes all. Tokita Ohma, nicknamed “Ashura”, joins these arenas and devastates his opponents. His spectacular ability to crush his enemies catches the attention of big business owners, including the Nogi Group CEO, Nogi Hideki.  Moreover, SiM will perform the opening theme, “Red.”

The editor of Kengan Omega manga has confirmed on Twitter that the anime continuation will adapt the original manga’s story “until the end of the original (the end of the tournament)!” The synopsis of Kengan Omega, which is the sequel to Kengan Ashura, follows, “Beginning two years after the game-changing Kengan Annihilation Tournament on Ganryu Island, we follow the paths of aspiring fighter Koga Narushima and the mysterious Ryuki Gaoh as they are tangled up in the underground world of the Kengan matches.”

The main cast members who are speculated to return are as follows: Kaiji Tang as Ohma Tokita, Michael C. Pizzuto as Hideki, Keith Silverstein as Kazuo Yamashita, Erika Harlacher as Kaede Akiyama, Spike Spencer as Narrator, Jake Green as Jun Sekibayashi, Joe Ochman as Katahara Metsudo, Bryce Papenbrook as Cosmo Imai, Jonah Scott as Lihito, Pete Sepenuk as Gensai Kuroki, Joe Hernandez as Mizakzuchi Rei, Todd Haberkorn as Setsuna Kiryu, Christopher Corey Smith as Sen Hatsumi, and Doug Erholtz as Yoshitake. If there are any new additions to the cast, they will be disclosed later.

Kengan Ashura Season 2 Episodes: Where to stream?

The upcoming season is speculated to have a total of 12 episodes, which are expected to drop in two parts for the viewers to binge-watch rather than dropping all the episodes at once. Moreover, the official episode titles and synopses of the episodes haven’t been released yet to avoid early spoilers. So, we suggest the viewers be patient and follow the social media handles of the show to stay up-to-date on the latest details, which will be released in the coming weeks.

The first season and the second season will be available exclusively on Netflix, with a range of membership options available at no additional cost with any of their services. The video quality and the number of screens you can use to stream Netflix simultaneously depend on the package you choose. The basic membership starts at $9.99 per month, and the standard membership starts at $15.49 per month for the streaming platform.
