Kevin Spacey recently testified at a civil trial against him on Monday, where an alleged victim sought damages claiming the actor sexually assaulted him many years ago. Kevin repeatedly rejected the suggestions about not telling the truth during the cross-examination. He reportedly denied an actor’s claims about having made a sexual advance when he was 14 in the 1980s. For the unversed, the trial is currently in its third week. The complainant actor has reportedly sought $40 million compensation from Kevin, alleging sexual assault charges.

Kevin’s response
As mentioned earlier, Kevin Spacey has denied the charges against him. His testimony reportedly continued for hours as he was cross-examined by the accuser’s lawyer. According to the latest reports, the testimony went smoothly, and the lawyer did not ask any more questions after the examination closed in the afternoon. The actor addressed the prosecution lawyer as ‘sir’ and did not seem rattled. His cross-examination happened a day after emotionally testifying that he regretted following his handlers’ advice by remaining friendly and cordial in response to the sexual assault claims made against him in 2017.
The accuser’s claim
Back in 2017, the said accuser had claimed that Kevin Spacey allegedly picked him up and briefly laid on top of him on a bed in his apartment in 1986. The accuser was said to be 14 years back then while Spacey was 26. Here is what Kevin said reacting to the claims, “In my heart, I did not believe this had happened.” The actor said he was terrified and sought his handler’s help for a public statement. He issued a statement in 2017 saying that he did not recall such an incident but was sorry if that did. Here is what Spacey said, “I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.” The said statement led to the actor getting widely criticized and losing out on several acting jobs. The most notable ones include Netflix’s House of Cards and the movie titled All the Money in the World.
