If being a massively successful entrepreneur, reality star, fashion icon, and aspiring lawyer was not enough, Kim Kardashian added one more label to this litany.
According to Page Six, the mom of four shared that her children incessantly mocked her for not staying abreast with the latest trends during her MasterClass titled, “The New Rules of Business: The Ten Kimmandments with Kim Kardashian.” When asked which trend have their kids introduced her to, the 45-year-old businesswoman denied in response because “it will be over by the time this comes out and then I’ll be the cringiest mom on the planet.”
She added, “So I’m not even going to dare say a phrase”, and concluded, “I said one like a week or two ago, and they will not let it go, and I just don’t feel like hearing it.”
Despite not keeping up with the cool trends that her kids, North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, would introduce to her, the reality star admitted that they continue to inspire her every single day and have pushed her to build her billion-dollar empire.
Kim said, “I drive them to school every day, so they control the radio, and they control the playlists when we’re driving. So I get to hear music that I’ve never heard before. I hear what’s like all the trends, what they’re talking about. I’d say the carpool rides are gold.”
Kardashian’s Ten Kimmandments, which are her secret behind her massive empire, set the foundation for her MasterClass, which is available on December 4, through the official website, according to Page Six. As per the news outlet, some of these Kimmandments underscore building self-awareness and personal growth, with suggestions like “Define yourself before others do”, “Turn failure into strategy”, pointing to an opportunistic way out of a customer backlash.
Additionally, she also emphasized, “Know your worth. Then add tax”, suggesting fans to only start a brand once they know who they are and have built a strong sense of self-worth so others do not make decisions for them.
With these Kimmandments driving her business, the Kardashian star was able to drive exponential sales the moment she would post them on her Instagram feed.

However, these foundational principles did not come from a vacuum; they were also genetically instructed. Kim, during the MasterClass, credited her mom, Kris Jenner, for shaping her entrepreneurial mind from a young age. She remarked that observing Jenner get her agent and manager licenses made her realize that a woman can also be the breadwinner.
According to Page Six, the momager Jenner, 70, did her own MasterClass back in July 2022, titled “Building a Business, Family, and Brand.”
Kardashian reminisced about her entire journey, reflecting on all of her businesses, from Dash to KKW Beauty.
In addition to being a successful businesswoman, there also lies a resilient learner within Kim Kardashian. Back in November, Kardashian took to Instagram to share her passion for pursuing law, as she passionately prepared for her bar exam.
However, the preparation indubitably took a toll on her as she hysterically broke down as a result of the stress and mental fatigue.
Posting a candid video on Instagram on Sunday, November 16, the 45-year-old reality star opened up about the mounting pressure she is facing in the current weeks leading up to the test that would measure her cognitive capabilities as a lawyer. According to PEOPLE, the Kardashian star had previously revealed that she did not pass.
The post was captioned with, “I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying — the ups, the downs, and everything in between. On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end. This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”
