Creating Special Moments with Saint

Kim explained that her decision to take Saint to London with his friends, leaving the rest of her children behind, was motivated by her desire to prevent him from feeling left out. She acknowledged that her life is brimming with responsibilities, from running her businesses to continuing her education, but she’s determined to make time to create cherished memories with her children, recognizing how much it means to Saint.

The Family Dynamic

Kim shed light on the dynamics between her kids, emphasizing that North tends to live her life somewhat independently. In contrast, her two youngest children, Chicago (5) and Psalm (4), share a bond that’s almost twin-like, as they are just a year apart in age and are almost always together.

Saint’s Yearning for Attention

Kim shared her observation that Saint deeply cares for his younger siblings, even expressing a desire for more one-on-one time with North. However, North’s inclination is different, and she prefers her independence. Kim expressed her love for Saint’s “mama’s boy” tendencies and acknowledged the fleeting nature of these childhood years. Saint’s growing independence is already evident, as he now hesitates to receive goodbye kisses at school and quickly transitions to playing with his friends.

Parenting preteens can be a challenging experience as they begin to assert their independence and develop their unique personalities. Kim’s insights into her family’s dynamics shed light on the ever-evolving nature of parenting, where adapting to the changing needs and dynamics of growing children is a continuous journey. Despite the challenges, witnessing her children becoming their authentic selves remains a magical and rewarding aspect of parenthood.
