Who is to blame? After all, the nine-month relationship had a 13-year gap, as the couple called it quits back in August 2022!

Any new Hollywood relationship is no stranger to making headlines, even if it’s just a rumor. One of the most talked-about couples from the past is Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, which had the internet on a buzz, with many thinking how odd the pairing seemed to be. Despite being broken up more than a year ago, talks about this couple still tend to catch the spotlight.

This time around, it’s the 42-year-old reality star who talked about her quest to find a love that aligns with her desire for a more age-appropriate partner after her split from comedian Pete Davidson.

Known for her glamorous lifestyle and captivating presence, Kardashian’s romantic journey has always been closely followed by fans and critics alike.

As one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture, Kim Kardashian has built an empire that often gets headlines for her glamorous lifestyle, including Kardashian’s romantic relationships, which have always been closely followed by fans and critics alike. Recently, on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, the co-founder of Skims, an American shapewear and clothing brand, opened up about dating life again and what that will entail when she finds the right person at the right time.

While chatting with her friends in London before attending an Arsenal F.C. game with their sons, Kim addressed their interest that “cute guys” might show up at the sporting event.

“Why are you all looking at me? I have age limits, guys,” she insisted.

“I need just a little more age-appropriate. I need [someone in their] 40’s.”

Kim talked about why she doesn’t feel the desire to date right now and how her friends are trying so hard to fix her up with someone. Which is something that we all can relate to from time to time. “When you’re single and all your friends are married, it’s like you have desperation on your face and everyone under the sun wants to hook you up with someone,” she said. “I’m genuinely just okay with being by myself for a minute and the right situation will come my way.”

This isn’t the whole story, as during one of the most anticipated interviews for a May 2023 appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Kim talked about her love life as she was hopeful that she would find love again someday. “I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone,” she said.

“I definitely will take my time. And I think there’s so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life.”

When the host specifically asked what she believes it would take to hold on to someone she loves, Kardashian responded, “I think just having that mutual respect, treating people with respect is just a given.” “I truly think someone is such a solid person when they have really grounded relationships. Grounded in love and relationships can be different things,” she continued.

“You know, sometimes you have your group of girlfriends that you love to go on vacation with, and then sometimes you have, you know, your other friends that you work really well with.”

Kardashian didn’t shy away from elaborating and also added, “Every relationship can be different. If you have just a mutual respect around the, across the board, that’s I think the number one thing.”

Besides, her fans can’t help but notice that she also made similar comments about finding love again in one of the episodes from the third season of The Kardashians after her messy divorce with rapper Kanye West. They were married from 2014 to 2022 and have four children together, “I go back and forth in my feelings sometimes, like, who’s ever gonna wanna date me?” she said in a confessional. “I have four kids, I’m in my 40s … like, who’s gonna wanna deal with the drams? But my person is gonna be like, ‘F— all that. It’s gonna be hard, but we’re together and we’re gonna do this.’ So I’m just waiting for that person.”

We think even though she might like to be with someone in the future. She might also be considering taking some time for herself, which will be quite great for her!

As previously, she affirmed that she doesn’t “need people to make me happy” and is “not really ever searching for something.” “I’m really content. My babies make me happy, my family, my life. You know, experiences make me happy,” she said. “But when you just look around and when there’s like tension and stress, that is just not necessary from work, from relationships, from friends. And you just decide to be still and not try to please everyone.”

“It becomes just really clear and you realize that you just wanna be happy and you wanna share this life and that these experiences with your group of people that you trust and you love, and who are super loyal,” she noted.

Upon choosing herself and her happiness, the reality star noted that “so many opportunities just opened up and things that I never thought in a million years would come my way.” “It seemed like clear as day that the universe was rewarding me for choosing myself and elevating, like, getting to the next level in the video game. I had to get here and I was always like here just in my growth process,” she said.

“And once I chose myself, the universe is opening up for you and all these opportunities are coming my way. And those were the confirmations that I was heading in the right direction.”

At last, catch up on all the drama that unfolds in new episodes of The Kardashians drop every Thursday at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
