Kourtney Kardashian has proven again to be the most iconic sister as her Halloween costume looks back at an iconic fashion moment of her family. The reality star embraced the spirit of Halloween with a stunning recreation of one of her sister Kim Kardashian’s most memorable looks.
Kourtney channeled Kim’s look at the 2013 Met Gala which the Skims founder attended while expecting her eldest child, North West. This comes amid speculations of a brewing feud between the two sisters.

Kourtney’s iconic recreation of Kim’s dress
In the Instagram photos posted by Kourtney, she showed off her belly bump while wearing a floral jersey dress in the same style as Kim’s original Givenchy gown. Her outfit included a body-hugging turtleneck bodice, long sleeves with attached gloves, a daring hip-high slit, grommet details along the sleeve and the hem of the circular train, and floral high-heeled sandals. The Poosh founder even copied Kim’s hair and makeup from the event as she styled her hair in a sleek, slicked-back ponytail, along with a bold and captivating red lip.

The thought behind Kim’s iconic dress
The iconic look was designed by Riccardo Tisci years back to accommodate Kim’s growing belly. “We chose a really stretchy fabric because I would be growing and we wanted to make sure that alterations were easy and it was comfortable,” Kim explained in a 2019 Vogue video.
Kim revealed that there were originally two versions of the dress: a black one and the floral-print style, ultimately the chosen option. “I was like, ‘I think I should just do the black version,’ and Riccardo was like, ‘No, c’mon, we have to do the floral,'” Kim recalled. When she asked Tisci why he favored the floral print, Tisci’s response left a lasting impression, “What do you give a woman who is pregnant? You send her flowers.”
Kourtney ‘stole’ Kim’s dress
It is worth noting that back when Kim wore this dress, she faced online trolling and was compared to a ‘grandma-like couch’. Interestingly, today, the same outfit is getting love from netizens. Fans were also quick to notice how Kourtney’s recreation of Kim’s Met Gala ensemble is a nod to their ongoing feud, implying that the former “stole” the latter’s dress, much like how she has been accused of “copying” her wedding.
It all began when Kourtney accused Kim of copying her with her recent Dolce & Gabbana partnership. In a June episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim responded to the claims. “I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy?” Kim said at the time, implying that if anything, Kourtney copied her. “Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli.”
She continued, “You stole my f–king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle? Okay.”
