The Kardashian family is no stranger to making some big revelations once in a while about their private lives.

After all, they have widely been known to the general public for their infamous relationships, which have gone through many ups and downs over the years. From their rise to fame within the reality television world to their countless controversies, the family has undeniably captivated the world’s attention. But this time around, it’s not just the younger members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan who have been making headlines recently.

It’s Kris Jenner!

Also popularly known as the mastermind behind the Kardashian Empire, who has been making waves on the internet as the “momager” of the Kardashian-Jenner family, she recently sat down with her daughter Khloé Kardashian during Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, where Kris, 67, opened up about her cheating scandal with her ex-husband Robert George Kardashian.

This controversial past history has been overshadowing her life for many years, making it one of the reasons why she felt it was her “life’s biggest regret.”

With each passing year, their relationships have become a constant source of chatter, leaving fans eager to uncover the truth about this scandal. Due to this, Kris finally made the big revelation while chatting to her daughter Khloé Kardashian about ex Tristan Thompson, as the Good American founder, 39, seemingly referring to the allegations of Kris cheating on her first husband and Khloé’s dad, the late Robert Kardashian, with Caitlyn Jenner.

Jenner’s first marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian lasted until March 1991, but remained close friends until his death from esophageal cancer in 2003. One month after her divorce from Kardashian, Jenner married her second spouse, retired Olympian Bruce Jenner, who publicly came out as a transgender woman in 2015, taking the name Caitlyn. Later, Kris filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Jenner described the breakup with Caitlyn as “the most passive-aggressive thing.” As of 2023, Jenner has twelve grandchildren.

Jumping back into the conversation, Kris replied in shock to her question, “You’re asking me?” To which Khloé responded, “Who the f— else am I talking to?”

Many fans also observed that in the final moments of last week’s episode, Khloé once again asked Kris to explain the reason for cheating as she asked, “What was your mindset when you cheated?” To this, she further added, “When you did that with my dad, and you had four kids and you had a family? Yes, I know you were really young….” To which Kris calmly responded, “Being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.”

The affair reportedly began when Kris was 34 years of age, and years after, Khloé still didn’t fully comprehend her explanation and asked her mom again, “But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?” Kris then admitted, “I don’t know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s biggest regret.”

Kris further opened up about this by explaining why she hopes her daughter will think before completely cutting ties with Tristan, who’s the father of Khloé’s daughter True, 5, and newly born son Tatum, 13 months. “When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends. We talked on phone all day long, helped each other through things all the time, and I did have regrets,” Kris later explained. “I thought, Wow, what I was thinking? So I want Khloé to be really careful when she makes these decisions and she has to let somebody go.”

Back in their conversation, Kris informed Khloé that while she had remorse about cheating, she was happy with how everything played out in the end. “I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason,” she said.

“I really do live my life by thinking God has a plan, and without that whole thing happening, there never would’ve been Kendall and Kylie [Jenner].” Later, Kris told Khloe,  “I just want you to be happy.’ As Khloe added, “I already have my happily ever after with my kids. I’m totally happy. When you have a partner, you know, I always put that person first, and I don’t want to put anyone first but my kids. Life is short. My kids are this age only for…’ as Kris finished, ‘a minute.’

“Literally a blink of an eye. And I am proud of myself for being with them, like diving into them as much as I have because it’s really easy to just be like, “No, someone else do it.” That’s not what I want to do in my life right now and it’s not who I’ve ever been.” Eventually, Kris said, “But how amazing for your kids and how amazing to have this experience with them and be so present, because a lot of people aren’t.”

Kris said in confession: “I move very fast and make decisions quickly. Khloe taking her time, that’s amazing, and I understand where she’s at, and I think it’s at a really healthy place. She is one of the strongest people I’ve ever met.” Khloe told Kris: “I want to just enjoy my life with them and if I find a guy, then I’ll find a guy. That’s not my top priority, but I genuinely don’t want anything right now. I don’t want the responsibility of another person right now, so give me time.” In the end, Kris said to her daughter, “Deal.”

The new episodes of The Kardashians drop every Thursday at 9 pm PT / 12 am ET on Hulu.
