“It’s your turn. I came down here to save your life. Don’t take that away from me now.” – Ella

If you recall the quote above from the 12th episode, “The Swarm,” which aired a few days ago, the viewers were surprised to learn that Eve and Gavin ally with James to infiltrate the Lazarus building in hopes of saving Ty and stopping Kiera from destroying their only way home, but when a deadly horde awakens beneath the clearing, Veronica must save Ella before a lethal sting kills her.

These intense scenarios have picked up the interest of the viewers more than ever to know how the story will cover all the major plotlines in the remaining episodes, and it’s no surprise that the fandom is eager to find out what happens next in order to bring this season to a satisfying conclusion. Here is everything we know so far about “When will the La Brea Season 2 finale air on NBC?”

La Brea Season 2 Season Finale: When will it premiere?

The highly anticipated season finale will consist of two episodes, simply titled “The Journey, Parts 1 and 2,” which will air next week on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC and will be available to stream following day on Peacock. The official synopsis of Part One states, “Gavin leads his family towards a new way home, but each step inches everyone closer towards his devastating vision of Eve’s death; Levi, ostracised from the others, is given a chance at redemption when an old foe proposes a deal.”

On the other hand, the official synopsis of Part Two states, “With Gavin on the verge of dying, Eve and her family make a desperate attempt to set things right—even as an unexpected twist threatens to tear them apart forever; Veronica reveals a secret that sends her relationship with Lucas into jeopardy.” Each of these episodes will last approximately 42 to 49 minutes.

In the meantime, watch the official new promo, which hints at how the season will conclude, as in Season 2, the Harris family remains separated as Eve (Natalie Zea) is reeling from her son, Josh (Jack Martin), having mistakenly gone through a portal to 1988. What she doesn’t know yet is that her estranged husband, Gavin (Eoin Macken), and their daughter, Izzy (Zyra Gorecki), have landed in prehistoric Seattle and now must brave the elements and animals to make their way to L.A.

La Brea Season 2: What to expect in the season finale?

Some of the big questions that are still lingering on the fans’ minds for a few days are listed by NBC Insider, which will definitely help you before tuning into the premiere. If you don’t want to be spoiled ahead of time, we recommend you stop reading right now! The paragraph below offers some interesting insights and hints at what viewers can expect to see. Here are the top three biggest questions about the Season 2 finale of La Brea, which we have summarised for you below:

Q1: Who made it out of the tower alive? – Levi’s plan to blow up the tower and the machine is successful, causing many of the survivors to make a mad dash for the exits. The hope is that everyone made it out safely, but the clock was ticking and there were a lot of people in the tower.

Q2: How much can we rely on Levi? – Levi has returned to the past to complete a mission. He claims to have spent a decade in the 1990s building a life for himself, only to have it shattered when his new wife and child were killed by sinkholes. He still cares about the Harris family and is responsible for the explosion. In his absence, he has become a man of mystery, and it will be interesting to see if he has any more surprises up his sleeve.

Q3: Will Project Blue Moon wipe the slate clean? – If you recall, James’ Project Blue Moon is a time-travel scheme that would allow him to reset his own timeline and keep his family together, but doing so could wipe out their entire lives and the events that brought them all to this point.
