Here is everything we know so far about if Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 will return to NBC in April 2023.
After a few weeks of waiting, the much-loved crime drama television series will definitely return to your television screens in the last week of this month. The 19th episode, simply titled “A Diplomatic Solution,” will premiere on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the same time slot of 10/9c on the NBC network, and it will also be available to stream later on Peacock.
The official synopsis of the episode states, “The team scrambles to find the group responsible for an assassination attempt on a UN diplomat. Whelan and Reyes find a key clue in the depths of the city’s tunnel system. Stabler struggles to balance the investigation with his mother’s increasing need for support. Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” now in its third season, follows the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau as they work to dismantle New York City’s most vicious and violent illegal enterprises. This season also revolves around a drug trafficking ring run by a crime family, and the leader of the ring is an agent of the police.

Episode 1: Gimme Shelter: A girl is shot and Cosgrove teams with Det. Jalen Shaw to track down her killer; Benson and Stabler assist and realize it’s more than a typical homicide; McCoy and Price seek justice against an international crime ring; part 1 of 3.
Episode 2: Everybody Knows the Dice Are Loaded: As ground breaks on the city’s first casino, Stabler investigates the death of a friend whose refusal to sell his home on the site has stalled construction; Jet breaks in two new detectives; Bell splits her focus between work and her looming divorce.
Episode 3: Catch Me if You Can: Stabler, Bell and the task force scramble to track down a murderer before he takes desperate action; Jamie blames himself when a mistake leads to further tragedy; Jet makes a crucial discovery that could save a child’s life.
Episode 4: Spirit in the Sky: With a suspect in custody for Henry Cole’s murder, Reyes goes undercover at Rikers to gather more information from him; Pearl and Teddy make a difficult decision to ensure construction on the casino stays on schedule.
Episode 5: Behind Blue Eyes: While Stabler is called to testify against the brotherhood in court, the task force sets its sights on a dangerous criminal gang posing as police; Reyes finds a surprising connection to the suspects; Bell receives some unwelcome news.

Episode 17: Blood Ties: A father desperate to find his son helps Stabler uncover a sinister human trafficking operation; Bell’s investigation is undermined by a high-powered politician.
Episode 18: Tag:GEN: When a drug bust goes sideways, the task force uncovers a sinister robbery scheme targeting gay men; Bell vows to help a fellow officer when he falls victim to the scheme.
The schedule details for the next few episodes have also been disclosed. The subsequent episodes will air next month every Thursday on the following dates with the same time slot of 10/9c on the NBC network and later on Hulu: May 4, 2023; May 11, 2023; and May 18, 2023. The exact episode titles and synopsis haven’t been revealed yet, as the network doesn’t want to spoil the story beforehand.
The series stars Christopher Meloni as Detective 1st Grade Elliot Stabler, Danielle Moné Truitt as Sergeant Ayanna Bell, Ainsley Seiger as Detective 3rd Grade Jet Slootmaekers, Brent Antonello as Detective Jamie Whelan, and Rick Gonzalez as Detective Bobby Reyes. It is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
In addition to this, Deadline has recently reported that Sean Jablonski is stepping down as showrunner of NBC’s police procedural. According to sources, Jablonski is departing due to creative disagreements. He is the fourth showrunner to depart the Law & Order spinoff in the past year. Law & Order: SVU’s David Graziano will oversee the remaining three episodes of Season 3.
When released, Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 with the entire Law & Order franchise will air on NBC and later be available to watch on the official website based on the user’s location.
