Usually, Law And Order Season 22 will premiere its episodes on Thursday at 8 p.m. (ET) alongside the Season 24 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 p.m. (ET) and Season 3 of Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 p.m. (ET) on NBC.

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 Plot

The fans have assumed that the 3rd season will continue last season’s storyline and character arcs. We are still unsure about the exact number of episodes as of September 21, 2022. But it is being reported that the season will have 8 episodes with an average runtime of 42 to 45 minutes. As per Rotten Tomatoes, the titles of the first three episodes, along with the official synopsis of the episodes, were revealed by the network, which gives insight into the plot, which is as follows:

S3E1: Gimme Shelter – September 22, 2022: According to the official synopsis, “A girl is shot and Cosgrove teams with Det. Jalen Shaw to track down her killer; Benson and Stabler assist and realize it’s more than a typical homicide; McCoy and Price seek justice against an international crime ring; part 1 of 3.” 

S3E2: Everybody Knows the Dice Are Loaded – September 29, 2022: According to the official synopsis, “As ground breaks on the city’s first casino, Stabler investigates the death of a friend whose refusal to sell his home on the site has stalled construction; Jet breaks in two new detectives; Bell splits her focus between work and her looming divorce.” 

S3E3: Catch Me if You Can – October 6, 2022: According to the official synopsis, “Detective Elliot Stabler returns to the NYPD to take on the city’s most powerful crime syndicates after a devastating personal loss — rebuilding his life, family and career while adapting to an evolving criminal justice system.” 

Moreover, in the crossover episode, a mysterious young girl is shot in cold blood, and Det. Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) teams up with Det. Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks, first episode) to track down her killer. Capt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Det. Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is called in to help when they realize they have more than a typical homicide case on their hands. After uncovering key evidence, Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) seek justice against an international crime ring, but complications threaten the outcome of their case.

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 Cast

The main cast members of the series who are returning for the new season are as follows: 

Christopher Meloni as Detective 1st Grade Elliot Stabler: A former Manhattan Special Victims Unit detective who returns to New York after retiring from the police department several years earlier. He joins a task force within the Organized Crime Control Bureau to find his wife’s killers and becomes its second-in-command.

Danielle Moné Truitt as Sergeant Ayanna Bell: Squad supervisor of the OCCB task force and Stabler’s current partner.

Tamara Taylor as Prof. Angela Wheatley: A former math professor at Columbia University, ex-wife of Richard Wheatley, and a suspect in the hit ordered on Kathy Stabler. She committed suicide and presumably murdered Richard at the same time after discovering that Richard was responsible for her son Richie’s murder.

Ainsley Seiger as Detective 3rd Grade Jet Slootmaekers: A former independent hacker who is recruited to the OCCB task force on Stabler’s recommendation. She was requalified as an NYPD officer to work with the OCCB task force.

Dylan McDermott as Richard Wheatley: son of notorious mobster Manfredi Sinatra, now a businessman and owner of an online pharmaceutical company who leads a second life as a crime boss and was a suspect in the murder of Stabler’s wife. He was presumed murdered by Angela after she discovered that Wheatley murdered their son Richie.

Moreover, the new cast members who will be joining the next season are Rick Gonzalez as Detective Bobby Reyes; Brent Antonello as Detective Jamie Whelan; Camilla Belle as Pearl Serrano, and Gus Halper as Teddy Silas.
