In the meantime, take a look at the official trailer on Netflix’s YouTube below, which will examine that this season includes a new batch of singles participating in a social experiment where single men and women look for love and get engaged—all before meeting in person:
Singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Seattle where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests when a meaningful connection is made.
They propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive series will uncover whether looks, race, or age do matter, or if love really is blind.
Each person will once again search for their potential soulmate while being physically separated by a fully opaque blue wall. The men and women are able to hear, but not see, their dates in the completely soundproofed rooms – which, for the record, do not have their own bathrooms. The hosts will help guide 30 eligible men and women as they take on an unconventional approach to romance.
After falling in love sight unseen, the couples will test the emotional bonds they form in the pods as they face real-life challenges like living together, meeting each other’s families, and planning a wedding in a matter of weeks. But if it’s real, it’s worth the risk. Meet the single contestants from Season 4 of Love is Blind who are searching for love.
