It’s time to gather your Pod Squad and mark your calendars for the Love Is Blind Season 5 reunion special, which will air on Netflix shortly after the fifth season’s finale episode.

Hosts Nick & Vanessa Lachey will once again join the participants to discuss all your burning questions as they break down this season’s twists and turns, share reactions to watching their stories unfold, and find out which couples are still together after saying, “I do” and “I don’t.” The reunion episode is all set to premiere this weekend on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT only on Netflix. In the episode, the fans were hoping that the contestant would address questions about how they find their future fiancés by talking through walls, a new group of men and women braving twists, turns, and triangles in search of true love!

Netflix also released a 38-second teaser, which mentions the technical fault that left Love Is Blind fans gazing at a black screen for hours while the special episode was meant to be playing.

The teaser evidently pokes fun at the massively delayed season 4 reunion special, showing a crew member crossing “live” off of a sign that reads “Live reunion today.” In addition to this, the cheeky text graphics reads, “It’s not live, but it is unmissable.” The reason why the reunion is pre-taped is that following the season 4 live reunion episode earlier this year, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen told The Hollywood Reporter that the show would not attempt another live reunion any time soon. “It was Netflix’s idea to do a live reunion,” he told the outlet. Further adding, “They came to us, and we all had some misgivings about it.”

For the time being, we recommend the readers catch up with the fifth season’s prior episodes before streaming this reunion episode as there is still the finale episode for the fourth week left to premiere on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the same time slot of 3:00 a.m. ET / 12:00 a.m. PT on Netflix which will be followed by the reunion within two days exclusively on the streaming platform.

For context, the official synopsis of the fifth season states that this season, the series draws a fresh crop of hopeful singles to enter the pods. There are new faces, a new city, and the same age-old question: Is love truly blind? The Seattle-based singles from Season 4 seemed to think so, as the three couples who tied the knot during the season are still happily married today. But will this new crew have the same luck? Can they make it out of the pods and down the aisle? Or will they leave the experiment just as single as they started?

That’s not the only great thing happening this season, as this time around, the cast and crew of Love Is Blind return to Texas. It’s great to see all the Houston-based singles who are looking for love!

Furthermore, the new group of singles, who are aged 24 to 33, come from entirely different backgrounds, but they are all ready to take an unconventional approach to find love. The cast includes a firefighter, minister, ICU nurse, scientist — and if that wasn’t enough —  two, count ’em, two Jar(r)eds. But no matter what they do or where they come from, the men and women entering the pods will have to trust the experiment to potentially find their soulmate. Also, we urge the readers to check out the comprehensive guide provided by Netflix to this season’s singles, where they reveal their relationship history, deal breakers, and more.
