More of Netflix’s Love is Blind is officially on the way. Continue reading to find out more about Love Is Blind Season 5.
If you have been keeping up with “Love Is Blind,” then we know that you are aware that it has been a while since any new updates regarding the fifth season of this three-week event have been provided to the viewers, which is quite surprising as it was renewed along with the fourth season back on March 24, 2022, which has been an entire year to this date.
With four successful seasons, this franchise has received critical acclaim and is watched by 30 million households around the world. So, there is no doubt that the network will try its best to hold on to this franchise for more seasons like other unscripted dating shows like Too Hot to Handle, Indian Matchmaking, and Love on the Spectrum on Netflix which deserve the chance to be expanded.
Even though very little has been disclosed, it does seem like Love Is Blind has been able to actually break Netflix’s sudden cancellation curse! The network has confirmed that a fifth season is officially in the works and will each feature new singles and new cities. Moreover, production is reported to begin soon after the fourth season premieres its final episode on April 14, 2023.
Take a look at the official announcement of the series renewal below:
We’d like to stress that the current status of the production has yet to be revealed, but we’re confident that casting will begin soon. Due to this, the network has not set a release date for Love Is Blind Season 5. Therefore, if we must make a guess, Season 5 is anticipated for release sometime in late 2023 or even 2024. Of course! This is just conjecture, and the exact premiere date will be confirmed in the coming months by Netflix once the filming concludes.
Until then, we request that the fans stream the prior seasons to understand the concept of the show, which was created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content. This dating reality television series elaborates the theme as, “Throughout the series, singles try to find a match and fall in love without ever seeing each other face-to-face, as emotional connection attempts to conquer physical attraction.”
Moreover, the upcoming season is expected to have around 12 to 15 episodes with an average runtime of 48 to 84 minutes. On the other hand, the episode titles and synopsis of the series have not been released yet. The network will publish those details when the episodes are due to air on the streaming service. So, we would advise fans to be patient while waiting for these updates and stream Love Is Blind Season 4, which is currently premiering on Netflix on a weekly basis.
In the fourth season, singles have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Seattle where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time.
Engaged and back in the real world, as couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive series will uncover whether looks, race, or age do matter, or if love really is blind.
Take a look at the official episode guide which follows four weeks as a collection of couples’ journeys to the altar that will be followed over the course of 12 episodes.
