Have the callings of the passengers of Flight 828 come full circle?
Manifest has taken us through a mind-numbing befuddling journey from 2018 to 2023. After four successful seasons, Manifest released Season 4 Part 2 on Netflix on June 2, 2023. Ironically June 2nd was also the Judgement Day for Flight 828 passengers, so it is an interesting twist the creators made.
Viewers have been enticed since the beginning of the series in 2018, and throughout this enthralling journey of five years (again, another reference from the film), they have been completely hooked on this show. After Netflix dropped Part 2 of Season 4 on June 2nd, 2023, there has been wide-eyed speculation on if the series will be back for a Season 5.
If you are one of the viewers who is wondering the same thing, you have come to the right place. Below, you will find all the information you need to know whether Manifest will be returning to the big screen again with Season 5. So continue reading.
Manifest Season 5: Is it renewed or cancelled?
*Spoilers Ahead*
After a whirlwind of questions on whether we actually saw the show ends on June 2nd, we are here to put your anxiety to rest. It was, in fact, the final season of Manifest. So we won’t be going back to having a Season 5.
Throughout the countless manifestations, theories, callings, and redemption arcs, the series had finally come full circle to the date of June 2nd, the date when Flight 828 had disappeared, only to return five years into the future. June 2nd is when the whole story came full circle, and all the characters got the send-offs they deserved. There were no loopholes left in the theories, and no more evil lurked around the passengers, so it was fitting that the story ended with that. Continuing further would dissolve the interest of the viewers, who finally got the ending they desired when the series took unfortunate turns in between seasons.
Hence, we can confirm that Season 4 Part 2 was indeed the finale of Manifest.

Manifest Season 4: Ending Explained
Things took an interesting turn when passengers of Flight 828 went missing in 2013. For the passenger, it is minutes before they land, but for the rest of the world, the passengers have been presumed dead for over five years. They mysteriously re-appear and go back to their families, but life is not the same anymore. Several things have changed. People grew up, died, and got married, all while the passengers remained the same during their disappearance.
Our highlighted passengers include Ben, his sister Michaela, Ben’s son Cal, Saanvi, a doctor, and a few more important passengers who play pivotal roles throughout the series. Through a lot of ups and downs, we come to the series ending, where all the passengers are guided back to the flight, which emerged from molten lava underneath, and they all go through a redemption test. The ones who don’t face their wrong-doings and do not forgive their sins burn in the molten lava and burst into ashes. Those who confront their mistakes and forgive themselves survive.
Incidentally, there were eleven passengers who didn’t make it, and at the beginning of the series as well, there were eleven passengers who went missing after the flight landed. Things have finally come full circle as a white glow guides the remaining passengers back to 2013, when they were supposed to land, bringing back Grace, Zeke, and everyone who lost their lives over these years. So no, we do not lose Grace or Zeke. Cal too, survives mysteriously, but unlike the other passengers, he doesn’t know what happened over these 11 years. They were given the ultimate second chance, so much so that Ben remarks, “Are we in heaven?” in gratitude!

In the same interview, Josh Dallas, who plays Ben Stone, said, “We knew bits and pieces of how it was going to end from the very beginning. I didn’t want to know exactly what was going to happen to these characters.”
