In a recent WWD interview, Megan Fox opened up about experiencing her first pregnancy loss before her miscarriage with Machine Gun Kelly. The actress, 37, expressed that she “had an ectopic pregnancy … when [she] was younger.”

“I’ve had other things that I’m not going to say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar,” Fox said during the discussion published on Wednesday.

Megan Fox called the miscarriage ‘tragic’ due to ‘that love element’

The “Transformers” star, despite facing “similar issues” in the past, found her most recent loss to be notably “so difficult” and “much harder” to cope with. Fox came to the realization that this miscarriage involved “someone who [she] was so in love with.” Elaborating on the emotional impact, she expressed, “That love element really made this miscarriage really tragic for me and left me with a lot of grief and a lot of suffering.”

MGK and Fox both confirmed the miscarriage

MGK, or Colson Baker, initially hinted at the miscarriage during his performance of “Twin Flame” at the Billboard Music Awards, dedicating the track to his “unborn child.” In a poignant moment, with a heartbeat playing in the background, the 33-year-old Grammy nominee sang, “Go to sleep / I’ll see you in my dreams / This changes everything / Now I have to set you free.”

The couple officially confirmed the miscarriage when Fox shared about it in her recently released poetry collection, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.” Fox penned, “There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day … do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note?”

“But now I have to say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides. I will pay any price, tell me please, what is the ransom for her soul?”
