In a shocking turn of events for Stranger Things fans, actress Millie Bobby Brown has made certain serious allegations against her co-star, David Harbour.

According to Page Six, the 21-year-old British actress allegedly accused David Harbour of bullying and harassing her on the set of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Brown has reportedly filed a lengthy complaint delineating Harbour’s behavior before the series started filming its fifth and final season, as cited by Daily Mail. In the popular series, Brown plays the lead Eleven, while Harbour plays the role of her father figure, police chief Jim Hopper Jr.

Speaking to Page Six, a source shared, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

As per the current reports, the 50-year-old Hellboy actor reportedly faced an internal investigation following Brown’s allegations. However, the outcome of the inquiry is unknown. The reports also reveal that the Enola Holmes actress allegedly filmed the series finale with a series representative on set. The outlets clarify that Harbour is not accused of any sexual impropriety in the complaint.

Back in 2021, Harbour confided about feeling protective of Brown, considering that they started working together when she was just a child. In an episode of the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast at the time, Harbour said, “Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit.”

He added, “I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real, like, worry…I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with.”

Per Page Six, Harbour’s concerning behavioral issues stem from his split with Lily Allen. They had tied the knot in 2020 but got separated in February after being together for four years owing to his alleged infidelity. Allen unravelled in her new album West End Girl that he had cheated on her. According to NME, Allen had revealed earlier this year that she went into a treatment centre to deal with the “emotional turmoil” of the split.

In her song Dallas Major, particularly, she sings about her relationship being “open” with her partner going “astray” and living a “double life” in “P–sy Palace.” In another song, Madeline, Allen sings about the details of an affair Harbour had while they were still together, as observed by NME. Allen had reportedly read out a voice note from the imagined titular character:

“I can’t trust anything that comes out of your mouth / I’m not convinced that he didn’t fuck you in our house,” she sings.

The recent reports speculate that Harbour engaged in an affair with costume designer Natalie Tippett. Despite Harbour’s commitment issues, Lily stood by him through thick and thin.

A source told Daily Mail, “Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time.”

In spite of the simmering tensions amid the Stranger Things co-stars, a Netflix source hinted to Page Six that the latest season of the show, premiering on November 26, is expected to be a monumental success.

The insider said, “It will be a theatrical event. Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.”

Although Netflix’s source revealed that the streaming platform will “never comment” on the internal inquiry, they shared, “But the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes. ‘Stranger Things’ helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.'”
