MOMOLAND announced their much-awaited comeback on August 13, 2025. As reported by EDaily, the K-pop group will be releasing a new song on September 8, 2025. Just a little while after the news was reported, MOMOLAND’s agency, Inyeon Entertainment, also confirmed the same.
Their official statement read, “MOMOLAND will make their comeback on September 8. Please look forward to it. Filming for the music video has already been completed. Further details will be announced at a later date.”
This will mark the return of the K-pop group after almost three years and eight months. Their earlier track, Yummy Yummy Love feat. Natti Natasha was released in 2022. Then, the band parted ways with MLD Entertainment owing to the expiry of their contract.
Later in May this year, MOMOLAND signed the contract with Inyeon Entertainment, following which they have now announced their comeback.

Earlier records of the group
The K-pop girl group originally had seven members: Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. Daisy and Taeha also joined them later and expanded the lineup to nine. However, Taeha and Yeonwoo departed in 2019, and were followed by Daisy in 2020.
Currently, only six members of the group, Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy, have signed contracts with Inyeon and are preparing for their upcoming act.
Earlier, MOMOLAND rose to fame with their 2018 single BBoom Boom, which became a viral hit, especially in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, on June 30, 2025, the K-pop girl group also released Festivaland. For the unversed, it was their first remix album with Baam (EDM Remix) as the title track.
The girl group has gained recognition for its lively, playful style and captivating performances by all its members. Some of their most catchy numbers that won the hearts of music lovers worldwide include BBoom Boom, Baam, and Thumbs Up.
Interestingly, the name MOMOLAND comes from the reality show of the same name, Finding Momoland, where the group was formed in 2016.
Meanwhile, fans are quite excited about the group’s comeback and have reacted on social media. For instance, one X user wrote, “since Momoland is back, let’s bring back the kpoppiest kpop song that ever kpopped.” Another one wrote, “That’s awesome news! Can’t wait to see what they have in store.”
