Yes! You’ve heard it right. Billy Miller and Laura San Giacomo are the two guest stars who are set to make an appearance in the next episode. Billy Miller will appear in Episode 3 as Ezra Moretti. Fans of The Rookie may recognize Billy as Ken in an episode from season four that aired last year. NCIS Season 20: What happened in the first two episodes?
The pilot episode, A Family Matter, was released on September 19, 2022, and viewed by 5.82 million US viewers. The episode is directed by Tawnia McKiernan and written by Scott Williams. This episode kicks off a crossover event that will culminate with the season 2 debut of NCIS: Hawai’i.
With Parker and his ex-wife on the run, the NCIS team looks into those who may have a personal grudge against Parker in the hopes of clearing his record. The episode concludes with Torres and Knight traveling to Hawaii with NCIS agent Jane Tennant and Computer Specialist Ernie Malik to stop the Raven or Herman Maxwell, who has been liberated by his followers, members of an organization known as the Unkindness.
Following the events of the first episode, the plot progresses into the second episode, Daddy Issues, released on September 26, 2022. It was viewed by 6.11 million US viewers. The episode is directed by Michael Zinberg and written by Christopher J. Waild.
In the episode, the viewers get to see that McGee is taken aback when it is discovered that a fellow father from his children’s school was involved in a break-in at a secret government vault.
