The wait is over as NCISverse is back with new episodes of all three shows in an epic crossover event this January!

The 20th season will return with its tenth episode, “Too Many Cooks,” on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the time slot 8 p.m., followed by NCIS: Hawai’i with “Deep Fake,” at 9 p.m., and NCIS: Long Angeles wraps up the night with “A Long Time Coming,” on CBS and later available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. This episode begins a crossover event that continues on NCIS: Hawai’i season 2 episode 10 and concludes on NCIS: LA season 14 episode 10. 

“For the first time in its 20-year history, the World’s most beloved CBS franchise will have a 3-way crossover event and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with the fans,” Christopher Silber, NCIS: Hawai’i co-Showrunner/EP, told Deadline. “Our heroes will come together to say goodbye to a beloved mentor. But what starts simple, blossoms into a multilayered international conspiracy that spans 3 cities and requires every one of your favorite NCIS characters to solve.”

In the episode, the viewers will get to see that NCIS agents from Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Hawaii, in D.C. to attend the retirement party of a beloved Federal Law Enforcement Training Center professor, find themselves investigating his shocking suicide. Additionally, The official Twitter handle of the show also confirmed the news among its followers, quoting, “Big news, the #NCISCrossover Event is moving to Monday, January 9! NCIS Season 20: A quick recap of the story so far

Here’s what we know about NCIS Season 20 episodes thus far if you haven’t been able to catch up with the season.

Episode 1: A Family Matter – September 19, 2022: This episode kicks off a crossover event that will culminate with the Season 2 debut of NCIS: Hawai’i. With Parker and his ex-wife on the run, the NCIS team looks into those who may have a personal grudge against Parker in the hopes of clearing his record. The episode concludes with Torres and Knight traveling to Hawaii with NCIS agent Jane Tennant and computer specialist Ernie Malik to stop the Raven, or Herman Maxwell, who has been liberated by his followers, members of an organization known as the Unkindness.

Episode 2: Daddy Issues – September 26, 2022: McGee is taken aback when it is discovered that a fellow father from his children’s school was involved in a break-in at a secret government vault. The situation makes McGee realize that some other parents at his children’s school regard him as aloof and antisocial.

Episode 3: Unearth – October 3, 2022: A murder investigation introduces NCIS to a longstanding curse that ultimately puts Torres and Dr. Grace Confalone in a tight spot. 

Episode 4: Leave No Trace – October 10, 2022: NCIS joins forces with the National Parks Investigative Service when a dead petty officer is found in the woods. The agent they work with, Gage Winchester, happens to be Knight’s ex-boyfriend who hopes to get back with her. However, this only pushes Knight closer to Jimmy as she agrees to go on a spa weekend with him, signaling a more concrete definition of their relationship.

Episode 5: Guardian – October 17, 2022: Vance is accosted by burglars in his home but subdues them, killing one of them. Parker takes it upon himself to be Vance’s protection detail at an upcoming conference in Berlin, while McGee assumes the role of acting director and Torres & Knight investigate. While in Berlin, an Interpol official with whom Vance is romantically involved is also attacked, leading the team to investigate a theft of diamonds.

Episode 6: The Good Fighter – October 24, 2022: While Kasie undergoes self-defense fight training, the body of an NCIS agent is discovered. The agent was moonlighting as a hacker to use paid funds from large corporations for charitable donations, and agents recruit Kasie for an undercover investigation which reveals that NCIS has a mole.

Episode 7: Love Lost – November 14, 2022: The estranged husband of the Secretary of the Navy, Tara Flynn, alleges she is trying to kill him, leaving the team with the uncomfortable task of investigating their boss’s boss.

Episode 8: Turkey Trot – November 21, 2022: At a Thanksgiving event, an explosion nearly kills an admiral, but the perpetrator, Charles Samuels, was aiming at Knight instead. Charles is the brother of a veteran who committed suicide despite Knight trying to talk him down during her time as a REACT agent. Having held a grudge all this time, Charles entered a romantic relationship with Knight’s sister Robin and ultimately takes the two of them along with Kasie hostage. Also, Knight and Robin are forced to confront their mutual animosity.

Episode 9: Higher Education – December 5, 2022: NCIS investigates the death of a college student who was killed while running across the street and had connections to McGee’s wife.

On the other hand, the network has also confirmed the details about the 11th episode, which will follow the plot further from the 10th episode. The episode is simply titled “Bridges,” and it will release on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the same time slot of 9/8c on CBS and later on Paramount Plus. The episode is directed by Lionel Coleman and written by Chad Gomez Creasey. The official synopsis of the episode reads, “Parker discovers he’s a victim of identity theft while investigating the unusual murder of a Navy ensign; Knight and Jimmy face hurdles in their relationship as their connection heightens.”
