NCT DREAM is currently topping the music charts across the globe with its new winter album which has won the hearts of music lovers in a very short time! On December 16, 2022, at 6 pm KST, the popular K-pop group digitally released their winter special mini album titled Candy. Apart from that, they also released its title track which is a remake of H.O.T.’s iconic hit from 1996 that goes by the same name.
The response
Immediately upon its release, both the album Candy and its title track reached the top of the music charts within Korea and abroad. By December 17, 2022, Candy had already hit the No. 1 position on iTunes Top Albums charts in around 16 different regions around the world, including Australia, Denmark, India, Russia, Malaysia, Chile, Japan, Indonesia, , Turkey, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.
The album also reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in another country, China, where it also got an official platinum certification.

More achievements
Apart from that NCT DREAM’s new version of the track Candy topped not only Korean real-time music charts, such as Bugs and Vibe but also AWA’s real-time music chart in Japan. For the unversed, the K-pop group premiered their new remake at the 2022 KBS Song Festival.
NCT Dream: The Movie: In A Dream
The documentary film is about the members of the group preparing for a stage along with a live performance reconstructed from the recently held concert ‘The Dream Show 2’ into the theatre version. The fandom will also get to hear secret stories of the seven members of the group that were never revealed before the world. Moreover, the documentary will also include an exclusive, unpublished interview that will act as a special gift for the fans.

Talking about ‘The Dream Show 2,’ it is NCT DREAM’S second solo concert that was held at the Jasmil Olympic Stadium, which is known to be the largest concert hall in Korea. Talking about NCT DREAM, the K-pop group made its presence felt by mobilizing around 135,000 offline and online audiences with their performance. It was the group’s first-ever concert in two years and ten months since their first concert, which was held at the Jangchung Gymnasium in 2019.
