The series is a coming-of-age story that centers on an Indian-American girl, whose father dies of a heart attack and shortly after, Devi inexplicably loses the use of her legs. Just when she starts to get used to life without her father, her mobility returns, and now, she tries to return to normal life and by normal life, she means dating the hottest boy in the school.
The show focuses on Devi and her family and also, a love triangle formed between Devi, the boy he has a crush on, Paxton, and her nemesis, Ben. Now, Devi has to choose between these boys, all while dealing with her over-possessive mother and wild emotions.
The first season premiered on April 27, 2020, and the second season premiered on July 15, 2021. It has been a long time since we last saw Devi and the gang and fans are eagerly waiting for the next installment of the series.

Finally, Netflix has announced a release date for the third season of Never Have I Ever. The series is all set to arrive on August 12, 2022, and we must say, Devi, is going to have a very complicated summer.

Never Have I Ever Season 3 Plot
In the last season, finally, Devi walked into the winter dance with Paxton and the couple made their relationship official. Paxton wanted to keep their relationship a secret at first as he was afraid of being judged by his friends for forgiving Devi for cheating on him. But later, when she walked away from him, he realized his mistake and decided not to let her go.
In the winter dance, Devi wanted to go without a man but when her date, Eleanor was taken away by Trent to the dance floor, she decided to head home, and then, Paxton came with a heartfelt apology and this scene actually gave us a Hollywood ending vibe. But, not everyone was happy during this. Ben, who was in love with Devi, was left heartbroken.
In Never Have I Ever Season 3, we’ll see more of Devi and Paxton’s relationship, now that they’re officially dating. It will also be exciting to see whether Ben moves on and focuses on Aneesa or makes a comeback for Devi. Whatever the plot will be, we know it’s going to be a wild ride, and thank god we don’t have to wait for long.
Co-creator Mindy Kaling told Elle, that the new season is going to have some personal angle for Devi. “I lost a parent, and I think that grief and grieving is such a complicated thing and can take many forms, and we’ve loved the scenes between Devi and her father, played by Sendhil Ramamurthy, who’s incredible,” she explained.
“So I think the thing I’m most excited about is delving into their relationship, and how your relationship with your parents continues even when they pass away. We’re excited to explore that.
“Also, she’s just a funny character who is good in her heart but makes a lot of terrible decisions. I love seeing her do that as she approaches college, trying to apply for college and what that brings out in her.”
