The much anticipated season three of the popular comedy-romance coming-of-age series, Never Have I Ever, was renewed on August 19, 2021. The next chapter in the life of Devi Vishwakumar is all set and scheduled to be released on August 12, 2022. The upcoming season will consist of 10 episodes with an average runtime of 22–31 minutes per episode. Since there are only a few days left for Never Have I Ever Season 3 to release worldwide on Netflix, fans have been asking for and requesting the trailer as it’s been quite a long time since the release date was announced on the official press release and by the cast members.
Now it seems like the wait is finally over as yesterday, the official Instagram handle of Never Have I Ever announced that the trailer of the season would be released on Wednesday, July 27, quote, “OH, SNAP! Lady Whistleboy just leaked that the season 3 trailer is coming TOMORROW?! Tea…” The new clip will be the first preview of the penultimate season and our first glimpse at the plotline and character arcs that the fandom has been speculating about for months. Never Have I Ever Season 3 Official Trailer
The Netflix plot synopsis reads, “In season 3 of the coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever, Indian American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.” In the trailer, it is clear that Devi Vishwakumar has already taken steps. After spending the first two seasons of Never Have I Ever trying to win over her high school classmates, Devi is finally fulfilling her ambition. She is now dating the adorable jock Paxton Hall-Yoshida in the third season of the Netflix comedy, which increases her appeal.

We get glimpses of Devi and Paxton finally being on good terms after she spent the previous season juggling her feelings for both of them and Ben. Additionally, the trailer shows that Aneesa and Ben are still together, although she undoubtedly feels uneasy about his close bond with Devi. Additionally, Kamala, the cousin of Devi, must manage her developing affections toward Professor Kulkarni. Thankfully, Devi’s grandma, who is a fan favorite, is also back.

Never Have I Ever Season 2: What happened in the finale episode?
Before watching the new season, here is a quick recap of the finale episode of Never Have I Ever Season 2, which premiered on July 15, 2021, simply titled, Never Have I Ever … been a perfect girl, aired on Netflix along with the rest of the 9 episodes. The episode is directed and written by Lang Fisher. In the episode, the viewers got to see that Devi seeks guidance from Eleanor and Fabiola after running with Paxton at the school play and being unclear about their relationship status.
She invites Paxton to the winter dance on their advice, but he declines. Devi, who witnessed Paxton’s rejection, arrives to comfort Ben as she experiences an emotional breakdown in the restroom. Devi breaks up with Paxton with the encouragement of him, Fabiola, and Eleanor. At the winter dance, Devi takes Eleanor as her date. Devi and Eleanor comfort Fabiola after learning that she is undergoing a mental breakdown when Eve inquires as to her whereabouts.
Fabiola learns to accept herself as a lesbian and stops trying to live up to society’s expectations with their and Jonah’s assistance. Soon later, Fabiola and Eve are named the school’s first Cricket Queen and Queen. During their dance together, Fabiola confesses her love to Eve, who then returns the sentiment. A lonely Devi decides to depart as Trent requests Eleanor to dance.
Devi and Paxton show up at the last second; after informing Devi that he is there as her boyfriend, they reunite and dance in front of an amazing audience. Eleanor apologizes for persuading Devi to date Paxton in the first place and assures Ben that Devi’s affections for Ben were genuine when he reacts adversely. While this is going on, Kamala and her future in-laws leave her family’s supper to go sing karaoke with Mr. Kulkarni.
